If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

The almost-final leap is underway! Jeanna has left Winnipeg and is on her way to Toronto. She leaves Toronto late tomorrow and arrives in the UK Thursday morning!! You won't be surprised to hear that it's been quite a trial leaving friends, family - and soon her country - behind. She's been through an awful lot, so thanks to everyone who's shown her kindness along the way. Please help me take care of her by sending your well wishes along - she may have left the continent, but she's not left KA! Thanks all
Loz - Life isn't always a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes of playing a poor hand well.

Safe travels Jeanna...you're on your way to your true love. I wish you both all of the happiness, love and laughter you can enjoy...You both richly deserve it!
Love one another and you will be happy. It's as simple and as difficult as that. (LoL, I know I'm going on 22 years!).

The almost-final leap is actually underway?! T.O. forecast is looking good for safe take-off tomorrow ... just a few minor flakes; should make a fitting little goodbye wave from Canada, I think! And overnight in T.O.? Rats. I could've driven out to the airport for a quick little meet-up if she had any time to kill, unlikely as that probably is I imagine.lol What a jumbled mix of emotions it must be to say so many goodbyes and be starting a whole new life with your one true love. Wow. Soon you'll both be enjoying the wonder of being together .. with no parting date looming. Here's wishing Jeanna a safe journey into your arms, Loz. Love and hugs to you both, mig

At last!
This moment seemed so far away for so long. Safe trip J. Loz... what will you do with all the spare time of calling / emailing Canada? You can't golf in all of it.
And to boost it all, we gain a Doctor too. How cool is that?
To all Canadians, if we can export you anything in return, please be sure to let us know ;-)
lol.
Cheers Jo

There was a young doctor from Winnipeg who fell in love with an English 'Good Egg' So t'was to leicester she flew, and simply becoz, Jeanna wanted to be with her great husband Loz Now loz, all a dither, a trembling, agog Can't wait till she gets here so he's gone for a jog! to calm his nerves, to settle him down, before the arrival of the best girl in town. Well love to you both, you lovely young things have a great life and may your love grow you wings, in order that together you always will be, and don't give thought to jealous old me....lol XX

Right you are Loz. Me thinks the best part about KA is it's travelability. It may help Jeanna to have the consistency of her friends here.
She's grown in all our hearts. Think we've all held our breath for her long awaited trip across the pond.
Be at peace tonight dear one, warm hugs Klem

I can sure relate to what she must be going through. Glad you two can finally be together. You better take care of her after all she's given up for you or else! LOL Oh sorry, ...Nope, no hard feelings towards my sorry ex for whom I moved clear across the country for and left my family and friends behind for and with whom I spent half my life with and then who ditched me... But that won't happen because they don't call us AS Kickers for nothin'. Don't make us come over there. LOL! On a more serious note, you both have the advantage of suffering from the same illness so you both will understand what each other is going through... it's what brought you together so I doubt there is any risk it will tear you apart. You also both can obviously communicate well with each other too. So many good things going for your relationship already! You are both very lucky to have found each other. Just insist that she sees her family as much as she can. Don't let her use lack of money or other things as an excuse as I did. I think that was the hardest part for me. People seem to age so much quicker when you are away from them. My sisters grew up so fast and changed so much after I left. Seeing them after so long made me happy, yet so sad. It was like they were completely different people. It's also hard to deal with the changes when you go back home. Everything is different and people have moved away. I once tried to move back, but things just weren't the same and I still hardly saw my family. They were all busy with other things. So even though I spent all that time feeling guilty that I left, it wasn't like things would have been so much different had I been there. My sisters would have grown up and things would have changed regardless. It's just easier to deal with in baby steps. She'll need a lot of support and understanding to get through it. She seems strong though. She'll be just fine. Wish you two the best! Sharon
