I had been a tad worried of late. The Sens had lost a couple of games but tonight they showed us there's nothing to worry about.
For anyone who missed it - We BEAT the leafs 8 to 2

Go SENS

And to think I was actually optimistic before the game. My poor sis was up in Ottawa tonight and had tickets for this. Not fun for her to see our boys in blue get trounced on like that. Nasty Sens!!

Incredible record you guys have going there; it was a tease to see you finally lose a few.

Only good thing? Lots of time before playoffs.
Enjoy while you can, Maggie! We shall meet again!

Sometimes I think my body is an inflammation nation.

AS for 20 years
HLAb27+, i think there was talk a negative result at later date, but never confirmed.
Have been on many different anti- inflammatory drugs (naproxen to arthrotec to vimovo). Now off all prescription meds except occasional advil or tylenol.
Don't underestimate the power of icing (I bought the biggest ice pack i could find and it is good at numbing pain).

Joanne and I were both sitting here at home watching the game and talking about the poor Leaf fans. Some Day they might see the Light and become SENS FANS TOO.

But Mig, you've gotta be kind of tired of cheering for that team. How many years have they been expecting to win ?
Many leaf fans travel to Ottawa for the games. They're allways a sell out now. I tried to get tickets to the Sens leaf game in January - not a seat left under $150.00 ( or thereabouts ) I would have to think they may soon stop coming here, since we seem to be winning every time. Sorry your poor sister had to endure that.

Oh, and the playoff thing - I'm not at all worried this year - are you ?

aloha maggie

your SENSATIONALS sure look great in the newspaper...i haven't seen any of their action yet...
i've been switching to OLN everyso often but they seem to concentrate on the bruins and the islanders for some
reason...i actually did watch about ten minutes of hockey betwixt the fifteen minutes of commercials...is
it boring sitting inthe stands while the commercials are playing on tv?

anyway...what did you folks do before the those walls and the glass cage surrounded the court?
i just don't grok the smashing of the opposing player into the wall head first...but then i guess lots of
folks over the course of the interminable winter bang their heads against the walls...(feels good when you stop)

why doesn't hockey use yellow cards and a red card like in football/soccer ?

if a guy gets three red cards in a season they could guillotine him at center ice...it'd keep 'em honest and
sure spark a great deal of fan excitement... they could even make it like texas justice and poll the crowd
thumb up, thumb down.

oh well, revel in your teams triumphs
best
