Dan,
please accept my condolences on the death of your father. I am fast approaching the first anniversary of my sister's death, and it seems like yesterday since my own dad passed away after suffering a series of strokes.
My thoughts are with you during this time of sadness.

So sorry to hear of your dad's passing...hang in there...my thoughts are with you and family....he went peacefully in sleep which is what we all should hope for...

Having also lost a sick parent, I understand your mixed feelings of grief at his loss and relief at the end of his suffering.

Thankyou so much for all the kind words from everyone, they were greatly appreciated.
My Dads burial was yesterday so the worst is over now and we just have to keep reminding ourselves that he is in a much better place.

Dan, dear, I only just saw this post now. I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Although, I know that he is more at peace now, I also know that it's very difficult for you. You are in my thoughts.
