Hello all,
Well, the prelims are over and the real dental fun starts today. We did the major cleaning over two appointments last month, and now it's time to start the big stuff. In about 20 minutes, I leave to go get one tooth pulled. That will be followed quickly by a bridge put into the gap where the tooth was and crowns on the teeth on either side of the extracted tooth. While I'm not exactly looking forward to any of this, I will be glad to get it done and over with, esp. this particular extraction--the tooth in question has had two more pieces break off in the past three days, so obviously its WAYYY past time for this to happen.
My mom is down to drive me to and from the appointment, so I'm sure I'll be well taken care of after I get home this afternoon. No matter how old you get, still nice to have mom come over and take care of you!
I'll let everyone know how it went later today, as long as I feel ok, which I'm sure I will.

Hope all went well with the extraction.
I am so glad you found this dentist. I know you have some major work to be done so it is nice to have a dentist you can trust.

hi brad.. hope your dental work went smoothly and you are relaxing and recouping well in the lovely company of your mum....  i know what you mean..i still like to toss myself on my moms bed and go back in my mind to when i was a kid...and my mom knows it...fixes me something to eat... and i get spoiled for a bit..  keep us posted and hope all is well...

Hi Brad, I hope you're doing ok after your visit with the dentist. I am one of the world's biggest chickens when it comes to the dentist. I have a good one, (he's actually canadian you guys up there) His name is Scott Golrich and he looks like Jim Carey the comedian. He gives me little blue pills called halcyon when I have to have anything major done. They make me very happy  , because I don't remember a thing. They help him because I relax and he can still tell me when he needs me to open wider or turn this way or whatever. I heartily recommend them(the little blue pills) Hope you're doing ok! Wanda

I will keep my fingers crossed, I am completely scared of dentist, avoid him in a mile.
I think of taking my mom with me as well.
Only thing I am gratefull for that I dont have so many prb. with theet, so thank god.
