Hi Lon,

I haven't been fishing, but my husband went over Labor Day weekend. We were down in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He caught some rockfish(striped bass) but he was on the Sound side at the time and had to throw them back. Down there, you can fish the Sound, cross the main road and fish the Atlantic Ocean. Rockfish, catfish, tuna and flounder. Those are my favorites, but don't ask me to choose just one!

Hope all is well with you. Take care, Wanda

Wanda, that sounds like so much fun! If I close my eyes I can see myself having a good time! I go with a couple young frinds locally, there is so much competition and joking that we laugh out loud most of the time. Wether we catch or not, we have fun. But I would enjoy some ocean fish!
It is always nice to hear from you.
Lon

All is well here. Just winding down after a trip. Time to stretch the bends out of my bent body. Sleeping on the floor is the plan tonight.

ouch, sleep on the floor? I will be sleepig on a cot in a few weeks at huntng camp, but it does seem softer than the floor? I do think we need to make our bodies return to the shape we want it to be!

snow,
Thank you. Say, did I tell you that a small family of rabbits were raised inside my fenced yard. I had a garden so I tried hard to keep them out for months. but then kind of late summer one day when Istarted the mower, I looked and there were brown streaks moving all over the yard. Some cotton tails had made it and were just having a high old time in my yard. There is still one left. He does get through the fence, but now he is not afraid and stays about 10 foot form me when I walk by. Of course his name is "cotton".

My deepest condolences to you and your family Lon...
Each day is a gift indeed. I cherish every moment I spend with my parents. Life goes by so quickly and I embrace my mothers love and all that she does and has done for me. Please know your family is in my thoughts and prayers...
