If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Kat,
So exciting and the pictures are beautiful!
I remember last year being so tough because of the broken foot.
The only thing better is I would have loved to see you in person.
Brian did a fantastic job with the pictures, thanks for sharing.
Take Care,
Lisa

I like the pictures. You are lucky to find something to be passionate about that also helps you to be well. I'm glad everything went well for you!

Way to go Kat. That is great, keep dancing. My neurologist told me alot of people get a diagnosis, and decide that is the end. They can't do anything now. They end up the worst off.

Steve, that's kind of how I feel about it. The way I see it, I was in pain and living with active AS for over a decade by the time I was diagnosed. I took dance classes, worked full time, took part in theatre and singing. The only thing that fell by the wayside was keeping up my house (and I wondered why I didn't have the energy for that! ). The only difference post-dx was that I now had a name for it, but I saw no reason to stop doing the things I love. And I added a few things too ('cause pacing myself does not come easy ... or I'm a sucker for punishment ... not sure which ). There are periods when I pay for it; sometimes, it knocks me off my feet, but I will not stop. I know what happens when I stop. I become sore and pain-filled, apathetic and depressed. I've tried living without dance and theatre. It's not pretty in any way. For anybody. But I need the benefits that my job provides, so I just keep going with everything and trust I won't drown at the end of the day. Many hugs,
Kat

Kat, You really do ROCK !!! I'm so glad you got to participate this year. Nothing like the energy in the room during a performance eh. Keep up the great dancing. You are a star !! Sherri

Well Kat that are some fantastic photo's and that all done on a broken foot, amazing... But serious you are so very right in keeping on doing the things you love, that is what keeps one going in the end. The flamenco is a beautiful dance and it will give plenty of exercise I'm sure.. Best wishes, Gerard

What a great thing to read. Dancin' thorugh any AS pains and enjoying every second of it. Its great to be able to keep doing what you love even if the aches and pains make it difficult to do it as perfectly as we can. ALthough from your post it sounds pretty perfect.
