I get pins and needles feeling in my arms, from my shoulders to my finger tips. Usually happens when my arms have been in the same position for a while (typing or hanging by my side) I don't really get it in my legs unless I sit or stand for an extended period of time. My arms also go numb right after I get the pins/needles feeling and the Dr said it was because my neck has started to fuse and it's pinching a nerve.
Don't know if this helps, but that's my experience with pins/needles

Hi guys
I forgot that i had posted this question and wanted to say thank you for your responses.
I have pain 24/7 which even with pain meds is not controlled. The oxycontin is alot for me becasue i have to pay 25% of my meds. some of them i try to mail in because they are free if i do but class 2 drugs i cannot get filled by meds by mail(veteran of war). iam unable to get another insurance to cover becasue then that insurance will become the primary and then i will have to pay up to $5000 before the VA would pay so they really have the vets screwed. its sad but my husband went to war, many of them having given their lives etc etc and they can't help the families to pay 100% of their medical expenses. I am a patriot i am for going to war but find it hard to fight with the government when me or my husband need a class 2 pain med.
My husband has one leg that works and is in alot of pain and they won't give him oxy, oh he can kill his liver with the tylenol they seem to say although he contracted hepititis when he was in vietnam becasue of a blood tranfusion, it is so messed up, yes im bitter becasue i see his suffereing. i would start a petition fot those who have served and are not able to get there meds, or who can't afford them for there family becasue they are too costly. alot of them come back 100% disabled get the benefits, which are not to great and then they expect you to pay 25% of every med every doctors appointment hospital stay. and you can't get extra coverage because it then null invoids the champva.

Sorry to vent but its the pits.
i know this went off of what i was originally saying but oh well.
thank you

Hi Mellie

I dont know about the meds,, but yes, I too get pins and needles.
Sometimes it in an arm, hand, areas of my feet, lower back and legs.

I've had two bad episodes of numb, pins and needles in my lower legs and knees (one side, or both) to the point where I cannot feel them properly, or walk normally.
I saw the Dr for this and they thought it was MS. However, as it passed after 2 weeks, they said it must be due to the inflammation & pinched nerves, swellings etc....
