Hi Zaida

I'm so glad that you know I wasn't being a bad person and not replying to your last post, you are such a gentle soul and i hated letting you down when you had taken your time to respond to me.

I'm so glad to here that your niece has no long term efects from her illness, as you can imagen i was worried what the long term effects may be if any, especially when Harris was so short of oxygen for so long. I know the Doctor that orginally saw him on Saturday and missed the diagnosis has got herself into trouble because of this. Harris was checked over this morning at the Doctors and all seems well, they will check him again on the 6 nov, with hopefully no need to contact them before that.

So now that Harris is on the mend I will be able to call the hospital back about my Humira appointment, i affraid it became very unimportant when he was so ill.

I'm glad you got on well at your meeting its good to know "your not the only one" with AS, but nice to meet someone in person, I met my first other AS person at the Hospital too and it was nice to chat.

Well tonight in Scotland is "Trick of Treat" not that Harris is going out, but he is having fun with the "OOOOOOHHHHHHHH" and a towel, and giggling, but some other of the local children will be round soon i hope, so that will be some light hearted fun i hope.

All the very best to you, Love Laura xx

Hi Laura

Harris will be added to my prayer list, as will you and Harris's dad. I hope Harris gets to feeling better. Sick babies are a real challenge.

Glad to hear they are working and beginning to appreciate more and more what you mean. My wife is over 6 months now and already had complications with contractions and we pray daily that all will be well with the little guy inside.

Best to you with baby continuing to recover.

Tim

Hi Tim

The things that happen when I sneek out the room! So some lucky Gal caught a good one on her line then eh! (ops, oldgeorge, might just note that automatic canadian moment!!!)

I am so happy for you both I didn't know all that news! But wowowowowow Oh how I'll pray your little one will get here safe, you just wait and see. I loved my Pregnancy and it was such a special time and very very luckly had no major complications or complaints, however i aint allowed any more and it makes me really sad, i try not to think about it to often, and try to count my blessings Harris is so very special, and I know that i couldn't cope well at all with the work more kids would bring. So I think I'll just share the joy and love of my KickAS pals as they and theres have families I am so excited for you. Oh Please don't think I mad ( I know you know that I am but its an internet secret LOL) But will you give thet Bump a special transatlantic kiss from me!

Oh tim I am so pleased, whens the due date, might be around Harris's birthday 23 Feb

BIG BUMP HUGS TO YOU BOTH XXXX

Laura x

((Laura)) We had such a laugh last night just imagining our precious Harris running around with the towel on his head being a scary "ghost". He has to be the cutest little ghost that ever was. I am so thankful that he is better.

I think of you often. I just told Floyd that my dream is to go Scotland to the Highlands and visit you and see the beautiful place you live. I have other dreams also. I am going to run with Kat someday. I am going to Alaska to see Janet someday. I am going to meet Cindy in Florida someday. Oh, if all of you only knew how you are in my life plans. I might even sit with Oak in a deer stand. This message would be a novel if I went ahead and told how I have each of you in my life plans.

I hope you have a great day today. Tell Harris that Grandma Possi loves him very much.

Love you all.

Oh, Ginger is fine and is sitting right here by me on the desk. She moves around the house a lot.

Laura, I'm so glad to hear that Harris is out of the woods. I think that he is playing at being a ghost is probably the best sign there can be that he is feeling better and on the mend.

Hope you all had a great Hallowe'en in Scotland. Ours was a ton of fun here!

Many hugs,

Kat

Hi Laura..
Just wanted to let you know that I have been prayinig for your wee one...and you as well! I hope he gets better soon.

Acute respiratory failure sounds just awful!! As an asthmatic and momma of an asthmatic it is heartbreaking to watch them suffer this way. I had a terrible bout of asthma last year and this year. Sofie is 7 now and she's given me some terrible scares. We have a nebulizer at home for both of us but I still get up several times every night to make sure she is sleeping alright.

For me I have to take the protonix and advaire and my emergency inhaler. I'm taking clarinex d now that seems to be helping. The guilt factor is so hard for us. I dread that Gianna has Rheumatoid and she's only going to be 14 soon and Sofie the asthma and severe allergies also from me. The one thing that should give you hope is that there are much better meds out there, for the asthma. Sofie is on prevacid to help with the acid reflux which settles down and the asthma doesnt flare as badly. Keep us posted....you are in my thoughts ...luv buggie
