Ummm I don't know about anyone else but this post Tim made and all the songs being listed has had my mind going through the words to most of them for the last two days. I went and got my hair cut this afternoon and was hearing Silent Night in my head while they had other music playing in the shop. Afterwards I went shopping for some of my son's presents and was humming through the store. Maybe that was Tim's idea when he made the post knowing how some songs get stuck in your head going through the words over and over. hehehe

Brent,

I do too, and am loving it. Last night I put in a Christmas CD and sang out loud and just enjoyed the lights. My son Isaiah only rolled his eyes once at me when I danced around to Jingle Bell Rock

Thanks Tim for getting the Holiday cheer going

Could anyone suggest a good christmas album, please? I d like some classics by various artists, but it seems there are so many of them that without knowing them, it is impossible to choose.
THANKS!

Hi Hana,

For true Christmas classics song by the musicians that made them "more famous" I love "The Time Life Treasure of Christmas" CD's (2 CD set).

Some of the songs...

White Chrismtas - Bing Crosby
Rockin Around the Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee
Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Perry Como
Adeste Fideles - Pavoritti
The Christmas Song - The Carpenters
O Holy Night - Perry Como
Hark the Herald Angels Sing - Nat King Cole
Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives
Jingle Bell Rock - Bobby Helms
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer - Gene Autry
Feliz Navidad - Jose Feliciano

and many, many more... (45 songs total) it is easily my favorite for old Christmas classics.

Another decent with some old classics and some newer is "NOW That's What I call Christmas"

Hey Pam,

The kids have not been around Christmas music the way most of the adults have. Things have changed so much over the years the music doesn't have the same meaning to them. I went through the radio stations yesterday and there was very little Christmas music on compared to not to many years ago it seemed all the stations were playing it a few weeks before Christmas. If it was not for the few TV specials and CD, albums or tapes I don't think it would be the same. Hopefully as the kids age they will pick up some of the older stuff and listen to it also.

Brent
