If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey all, I posted a link to my all time favourite Christmas song in my "Blessed Yuletide" post.
Add to that:
Da Who Doray (How the Grinch Stole Christmas - the Whos in Whoville) Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (Meet Me in St. Louis - Judy Garland) A Spaceman Came Travelling (Spanish Train Album - Chris De Burgh)
This list could go on ad nauseum. I love pretty much all of them, but these are some of my favourites.
Thanks for starting this Tim!
Many hugs,
Kat

Due to my being deaf, I don't have a favorite song, but i do remember in elementary school, they often made us sign the songs...such as silent night, holy night, deck the halls, we wish you a merry christmas, etc.. pretty lame, eh? LOL But on the subject of favorite christmas songs, I would say I do have favorite christmas movie National Lapoons Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase LOL and I am embarased to admit that I havent really seen the movies like mircale on 34th street, etc....

Brent, There is a radio station here that plays Christmas music from Thanksgiving day to midnight on Christmas day. I love that. When my son Noah was 2 years old he learned Santa Claus is coming to town from a tape I had where the Pointer Sisters sang it. So was cute to watch him sing quite a jazzed up version of it He sang it all through the mall while Christmas shopping that year. Made even some people who looked like they were in a humbug mood laugh. Now when he hears that version he just rolls his eyes because of the stories he has heard...... but I catch him smiling too. Happy Holidays Pam

David Bowie and Bing Crosby odd duet doing their own Little Drummer Boy which was a clip from an old TV special.
More anti-Christmas and not so sappy but sinisterly entertaining is "Father Christmas" I think by the Kinks. "Father Christmas give us your money, we got no time for your silly toys..." Bruno being an urban misfit and poet empathizes with the anti- commercialism aspect of the song. He also likes a wee bit of menacing in a good chorus.

Hey Steve I think I remeber the David Bowie and Crosby clip. Christmas songs have sure changed over the years, but for those who like Country and Bluegrass music some of the new stuff is great.
