i'm doing a jamaican sweet-spiced roast of pork; yams with basmati rice; roasted pineapple; fried banana.
(it has an off the wall sherry, lime, brown sugar, garlic, pepper and pepper and pepper and herbs
and oddball stuff like nutmeg, cumin, corriander, cardomom, ginger, and more herbs...slowly roasted;
with a gravy made from the juices, a brown roux, flamed with rum and lots of lime juice)
i got the recipe from a friend who worked both the islands and new orleans and liked to jumble stuff up

maybe a bourbon bread pudding w/ sour cream for desert.

Hey Ben,

Do strike when you can.... happy gardening and like the Scarlet Pimpernell, avoid Madame la Guillotine (and send AS to her in your place).

Aloha, ben:

Hope the garden grows well--but, uh,...you got a prescription for that stuff?!

Maybe Stevec can send Bruno over to help unseat those preverts at the library. I think Stevec loves this place, too!

mmmm...cardamom! Got any recipes for honey/pistachio/saffron kulfi?

See ya on the Funway,
John

I love this place too and I hate change unless its a wanted change.

The notion of you not being here seems highly unwanted.

Change is one road. Maybe there other roads to traverse.

Seems like over the years for one reason or another too many good ASkickers drift of into the mist. I don't like the mist.
