Hi Sherri,
I'm sorry to hear about what happened when you went to the hospital. I hope you were able to get some or all of the medicine you needed. I hope you're feeling better very soon.
Take care,
James.

Sherri,
My dear friend. It is time to tell the girls how sick you are. It is time to call 911 and see if there is a
Women's resource Center, or a Community Women's Group. Would one of your girls call christian Church of some kind and ask to talk to a female staff member, and tell them why.
You are important.
Do this for yourself.
When you get better, you will see how much you have to offer. Depression, can be anger protecting us, turn that good anger around and go back to that stinking hospital tell them you are not leaving until you have help.

Hi Sherri, my dear friend you didn't need to have the doctor treat you that way. I wish you lived closer to us here in Ontario.

I don't know if you have the same as we do here in Ontario. The group is call Commnunity Care Access, and counsellors will come out to your home, and the drugs are like $2 while your under their care. I have had to use this group a number of time and they really helped.

Love, and many hugs are going your way.

Sherri,

You are NOT Alone!!! You have your girls and us!! I agree with Lonnie, it is time to tell your girls how sick you are. Let them help you!! What about your rheumatologist? If you call his office, maybe they can help you find someone that can help get you the counseling and meds that you need.

Please, please, please keep fighting!!! This is only temporary!!!

Do not hesitate to lean on your KA FAMILY!!! We are real people that really do care!!!!

Big HUGE Bama hugs and all my fairy dust!

Sherri, my thoughts and prayers are with you Sweetheart.

The hospital was totally wrong to have treated the way that they did.

Lots of love and hugs!

sherri, aloha

trans galactic hugs and good wishes...
this depression thingee can be awful: you're a good person, you're loved and valued
here, your contributions so appreciated.

there are so many things so many of us can be angry about quite justifiably imho,
but, kid, ya can't hate and blame yourself; it's unfair, life's unfair, the world sucks,
it's not your fault and don't take it all out on yourself.

be careful...and talk to someone, please

Sherri,

I know how frustrating that must have been for you at the hospital. Had a VERY similar situation happen to us when I took my son in after my stepson died. The Idiot that they had talk to my son basically told him to "buck up and move on"

Lon had a wonderful suggestion, and it worked for us too. Call an area church and talk to someone. Keep calling until you find the right person for you to talk to. It was hard for my son at first to do that, as he has 'religon phobias' for lack of a better term. (His Dad.. long story)
But we took it one day at a time, and didn't give up until we found someone he felt he could 'connect' with.
I know that feels like a daunting task to do on your own. Talk to your daughters Sherri. They will be ok. They CAN help you get through one day at a time. They have you as a wonderful role model. YOU are always there when someone needs help. LET them know you need THEM.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that each day is a little easier for you to cope with.

Take care of yourself.

Hey all, Sherri asked me to let you know that she's seen all your responses and really appreciates them. She doesn't have it in her to respond right now, but she's hanging in. Taking it one moment at a time.

Keep the love coming folks. It's being heard. And thank you all so much for pulling through for Sherri. God I love this place!

Warm hugs,

Kat
