Anyone know where to get one? We're having a hard time with creativity on the NSD

There are some recipies in The IBS Low-Starch Diet by Carol Sinclair, you have to be careful because(surprise) some are LSD. You could also try Cooking with Coconut Flour, I had some success with that one.

"Eat Well Feel Well" by Kendall Conrad ISBN 978-0-307-33994-2

http://www.amazon.ca/Eat-Well-Feel-Carbo...7784752&sr=11-1

This is a cookbook written for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet which is similar to NSD (no grains, potatoes etc). There is the occassional difference between the two diets (e.g. cashews are allowed on SCD and they are starchy)

The recipes look great and I am going to be trying them soon (have had the book for a couple of months but have been lazy about trying new recipes, busy with work)

All the best,

Have you looked in the Diet Specific Recipes Forum?

https://www.kickas.org/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=0&Board=DietRecipies

Just some ideas to get you started until you find a cookbook.

Another good book is "Breaking the Vicious Cycle" by Gotshell (sp) of author.

Can't recommend this book enough - especially if you have a sweet tooth and crave cakes, biscuits etc. She developed the recipes because of her daughter's illness and they taste just like the real thing. Similar to Carole's book, but more choice and lovely photos.
