Brad,... to follow your thoughts in recognising that many of our newer members didn't have the same good fortune and indeed privilege of meeting George, I thought some might be interested to read his story, from our KickAS Stories section... George Ilott's Story Part 1 & Part 2 I wish so much he had written part 3.

My deepest sympathy to his family. I had an honor of knowing him for a short while and he will be truly missed.

Dorrit, So sorry to hear of your loss. I have been on here since the early days, and although I don't post much, I read the forum everyday. I always looked forward to George's posts, and had already been missing him.

So sorry to hear about my dear friend Old George and will be sending many thoughts and prayers your way during your lost. I have been missing him for a while but am glad you let us know what happened. He was a very strong and kind man with a great sense of humour. He will be missed dearly.
Brent or the other George since I use my middle name instead of the first.

Dear Dorrit, I am saddened to hear of George's passing and offer my condolences. I know he was well loved on here and I will miss his emails and comments.

George was the sweetest person!!!! He was one of the first people I talked with at KA. I learned so much from him. He was a fine gentleman and I will miss him terribly!!
Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything that I can do please let me know!

Hello Dorrit,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Old George. He will surely be missed here at KS.
He was a delightful man. I loved his humor, and so many times he would say something that included you. I could tell he really loved you. I will always remember that little picture he had on his posts.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sad to hear this...I have not been around as much here, but remember George from perhaps the late 90's...he was so great to talk to and if there was one ASkicker who truly rocked, it was George...if I remember correctly I would rap with him online in the chat room years ago...I always felt at ease when I saw his picture attached to his post...smiling....
He was and is one of the best persons I have met here at KA, and his unique story will be remembered...I was on the list to get his film...
My thoughts are with you Dorrit Blue Northern...

This is such terrible, sad news. George was such a funny and loving character here at KickAS. He will be greatly missed.
Words just seems so inadequate right now. I'm so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your family right now.
May he rest in (pain-free) peace.
