In the midst of trying to (still) recover from shingles, trying to cope with the "stoned" side effects of Lyrica, and canceling a vacation to AZ....  Today I got a phonecall - my dad was in an accident and flown air ambulance to Vancouver (nearest major city), and has multiple bleeds in his brain from a bad head injury, and other injuries. I immediately jumped the next flight from Calgary to see him - he's not good - I was able to see the CT scans (and I know a thing or two about brains after grad school in neuroscience). My mom is flying in tomorrow morning (the accident happened after the last flight left their home town). Please send prayers.

I'm sorry to hear about this. Sending thoughts and prayers.
Sometimes I think my body is an inflammation nation.
AS for 20 years
HLAb27+, i think there was talk a negative result at later date, but never confirmed.
Have been on many different anti- inflammatory drugs (naproxen to arthrotec to vimovo). Now off all prescription meds except occasional advil or tylenol.
Don't underestimate the power of icing (I bought the biggest ice pack i could find and it is good at numbing pain).
