So, I have a show opening next week here in Toronto. I'd love it if some of you wanted to come out. Here's the show flyer:

We have shows at 8pm on May 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23. Also, matinees at 2pm on Sundays, May 10 & 17. Ticket prices and the box office phone number are on the flyer.

We have a preview on April 30, but that's apparently been sold to some company. I'm trying to find out if I can get a couple of tickets for our beloved Sherri, who'll be in town that night, but it's looking dicey.

Anyway, Hay Fever is considered to be one of Noel Coward's best shows. Certainly, the role of Judith Bliss seems to have been written with me in mind ... erm ... a full 40 years before I was born. Anything's possible, right?

I promise, there are no flying leaps onto beds for me in this one (to save Mig's poor heart from going into conniptions as she watches). Just some good fun.

Love and warm hugs,

Kat

Thanks, Trudi!

If you're wondering about Ben's response below, I have actually broken a leg during the run of a show (hit by a car on my way home from the theatre in December 2000, about 8 months pre-dx and finding this place) and a foot during rehearsal of another show about 5 years later (spring 2006ish, stood up from the couch - foot was dead - the rest is not for the squeemish - my foot was still wrapped and I used a cane offstage during the run of the show, which included the now infamous flying leap onto a bed).

My career has been riddled with stupid injuries.

Anyway, thanks!!

Warm hugs,

Kat

Oh excellent - I am going to try to pick and date and come out to see you Kat!!

This looks like the same theatre as last time, is it? The time we sat together to see your sweetie's performance, which was great! Are you both in this play?

Oh and this is the theatre across from that great restaurant, where for the first time ever I discovered sweet potatoes fries served with maple sour cream, mmmmmmm so tasty!

No flying leaps eh, good to know!

Same theatre, across from the same restaurant with the sweet potato fries!!

I won't be able to join you for dinner this time, being in the show and all. But can definitely say hi afterward. Let me know what night you're coming!!!

Love and hugs,

Kat

Oh how I wish. I will add that to the list of "want - to's" along with hiking.

Best wishes.
Hugs.

Maple sour cream, eh? Wow . . . that just really doesn't sound good. I love sweet potato fries, but . . . hmm . . .
Kat, I wish like crazy I could come see you, but obviously I can't . . . however, I WILL bug my Londoners to go see you. They go to Toronto fairly often.

It was quite funny . . . last year, Cody and I went to my dad's book signing in Santa Fe, and there we met a gal who is an online-Multiple-Sclerosis-support-group friend of my Alaskan sister . . . So we took a picture of me and her and sent it to my sister . . . very weird coincidence. That gal is from Minnesota or something. No clue why she was at my dad's signing in Santa Fe.

I'm going outside in my bikini top . . . to the corral and garden with me!!! (did I mention that my bikini is camouflage? heehee)

love to you and have a blast with your show,
Bridge
