Hi Anna,
I decided to do what I can do evey time I could do it. I had to go to less skilled gorups, from the higher leagues to just for fun gorups. I play with youth gorups and when I see an uneven match up I volunteer. but use it or lose it- often is the turh for us.
Nice ot meet you. I was able to go back to basketball afte rnot playing for five years. But I am too old now for much.

Hi,
I am really happy to note that you are ABLE to play. Also other posts indicate that a few are able to play. I can not even think of it now.

Regards.

Hi Spanna, I was playing football (in the UK) at a fairly high level when my problems started which were first thought to be groin strains and thigh strains. Well it got so bad i had to quit playing. I did some coaching and scouting to stay involved but i was still hurting. Eventually after much searching and various treatments i came across the NSD. Now at the age of 60 i play golf at least 3 times a week and i work out in the gym every morning. Good luck George

Hi saw you posting about sports. How are you doing?
I am glad that you have kept at it with NSD. You are a good example!!

Hi Lon, I do keep visiting here and it is nice to see how many people we have given the information to to enable them to get some relief. The people at this site are just fantastic, i suppose when you have experienced AS and see people struggle at first it is so rewarding to read a post from someone who was in so much pain to come thro the other end and have some control. Keep well Lon

I have been on Remicade for a year. I started exercising last fall at the gym. I was down hill skiing last winter and had only given it up a year ago. This year I golfed more and started to enjoy the game. I have also found walking and swimming to be very good for us. Yoga is hard but I want to try it again. I am 43 and used to love sports and being active. Try differebt things and new sports will take place of sports you used to love. Try and stay active....

Beth
