Will,

I don't for a moment think that there is one individual on KA who would NOT have been happy for you that you had found the right way to feel better, or indeed *be* better without the symptoms of AS.

I think what they were upset about is that in the same breath you slugged each and every one of us with a baseball bat...

There are those here who have found the biologics to be The Answer, and many who have found relief through the NSD, but when they post, they DO NOT condemn others for not following the same path. We don't walk in each others' shoes, so who are we to judge???

Respect and humility is the way to convince people - gentle persuasion is a far more successful strategy to win people over than punching them - ask any car salesman!!!

I hope that you continue to be well and I have no doubt that you wish it for all of us, especially your dear sister Ronel. If only there was a "One Size Fits All" solution, then there would be no need for a place like KA - heck, we would all be out on the golf course, throwing balls in the park with our kids, or planting new seedlings in our garden, not saying "Oh, that would be nice, but I think I need to have a lie down right now" - how boring it is to REST!!!

My best to you.

Louise

Thank you Will. I am very happy that you are out of pain and doing well. This is a great group of people all doing what we can do to fight this monster and I do like to hear when people are doing well.

Hope you have a glorious week and hope you will come back.

Blessings.

BethB, yes I think I placed it at the wrong place. But had to do it, my soul just told me to do it. My heart is really sore if I read about what everyone is going through. I believe I'm really in a very fortunate position. I have the biggest respect for the people on this forum and didn't mean to harm anyone. Hope you have a great day and you will soon be perfect again and without any pain.

Louise and BethB, I think I disappointed my sis. I just couldn't believe the negative people. I have never been on a forum like this before, I never realised how other people suffer with this sickness. It took me 3 years to get positive and I believe the solution to get better is not in medicine but in our mindset. I know everyone is going through hell and I respect that. But it's not for me to say how people must handle their sickness or not. For me, I found an answer and I say "Thank you God!" over and over every day. Don't think Ronel will be on the forum again and I'm sorry about that - hope it was not my doing. She is amazing - she tought me how to get where I am at the moment. I hope she and many other people will get here - and I don't brag. Please don't think that. I'm absolute humble before God. Again, I'm sorry if I condemned or hit anyone with a baseball bat. Truly sorry!!

After reading this post, I went to the original.

Control. If anyone for a second thinks they are in control of their life or any aspect of it, they are sorely mistaken. We have the ability to slightly manipulate the ebb and flow of life but thats it.

All the great and terrible things happen to every living being on this planet. Period.

IMO we need to surrender all to the very real God. Even if AS flare happens to me again sometime in my life- OH WELL! I'm still going to be a funny, happy, grateful and thankful oh and most important of all HUMBLE human being!

One of the most important men in history- Abraham when talking to God said "I am nothing but dust and ashes"-humble.

King David (of David and Goliath)considered himself a worthless servant to God. God made everything happen for David only because David had the propensity to be there.

IMO the secret is a selfish and inconsiderate belief. The latest marketer of this philosophy even summed it up by saying "it is the art of selfishly devouring life". It offers nothing about life reconciliation and what comes after life. Even if it works- I don't care, Id rather spend the rest of my life GIVING to he who needs it- even if God puts me in pain.

Right now I feel amazing. When I was the happiest and most positive and care free I had been in 30 years, I was at my absolute worst with this disease. My "thoughts" were nothing but absolutely positive. I didn't even know what I had! But I was worse with "AS" than I had ever been. (Don't even want to get into the details)

To sum it up, control- there is no such thing as control for a human. I have no pain right now. Stay humble and God will reward you with all the things you ever needed. Pain is nothing but a learning experience. I'd rather give to whose who need it with the rest of my life than avoid pain.

My thoughts EXACTLY!
