Clarinettist, but haven't played in about 2-3 yrs. Not due to AS, but due to work schedule.
DX: Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriasis
Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away.
Epidural Steroid Injections x8; Lumbar Radiofreq Ablation x2
SIJ Steroid Injection x3; Bilateral Radiofreq Ablation SIJ x9

BEER!!! That's what's missing!!  Maybe if I try propping my left foot higher, it would lower the angle of the guitar so my right shoulder doesn't feel strained. Thanks for the suggestion. Hugs,

The beer is the key i think...it will probably still hurt but i guess it just depends on how bad you want it

Do you play flute? I used to. Have a beautiful (if someone messed up and out of tune) open-holed flute that my folks bought me when I was 16. Haven't played it in far too long. Had hoped to pass it on to one of my nieces, but they both picked up clarinet. argh.
