I keep saying that I snap, crackle and pop more then a box of Rice Krispies. I think it's all part of this disease.

yep, that crackin is just a part of life now. the more I exercise, the less I crackle. When things stop crackin completely I'll get worried because that probably means I'm dead.
Btw, If you need more info on stretches and exercises I ordered an exercise DVD specifically for spondylitis. It has a lot of stretches that are safe for us.

I've had days when I was a One Woman Percussion Section! Actually, there was a thread a few years ago in which we discussed forming our own, KA ASers Percussion Band!! laugh2

Sadly, it is normal.

Hugs,

Craig,
Thanks for your reply.
It was such a long time ago when I was first diagnosed with AS, and I have been in remission until now.
Some things happen and I think - oh yes I remember you! And others like the clicking I don't remember much from before.
It's reasurring to know it's not a sign that things are getting a lot worse or something, you know?
I will have to embrace the clicking then I guess!

Hello Donna
I shall never look at my Kids cereal in the same way again!
Thanks for your reassurance.

Hello Jbirdus
Your reply made me laugh!
Thanks for the exercise DVD link - I could really do with some that are safe for AS suffers.
That's so thoughtful of you. I really appreciate it.

Hello Kat
I've always fancied the idea of being in an orchestra - but cannot play any instruments well enough (chop sticks on the piano and 3 blind mice on the recorder are not quite the required standard!!!)
clicking in the percussion section, however, count me in, hon!
clap roll clap
