My nieces and nephews are all playing it now. Seems to be the up and coming thing now. I have watched a lot of their games. Utah's team won the championship this last year.

Hello,

I am from States and grew up playing. I now live in Argentina where football is everything. I much prefer playing than watching.

I follow USA team, otherwise I do not follow US football. Here in Argentina, my team is Newells. They nearly won last tournament, have started current tournament in the middle.

I will watch English Premier league as well.

Tim

Morning all.

I am 42 and still playing open age. When I have had my appointments with immunologists/rheu their advice was keep playing as long as you can. Unfortunately, my SI and achilles disrupted my football (and life). Since going NSD and no dairy I have made a comeback. Unfortunately 35 years of playing has diminished my physical self (and of course the effects of AS) but I have played 4 times this week and only my achilles was swollen (and not too bad).

I am hopeful of continuing to play after having previously retired.

It is my passion...

I love watching football =)

My fave team would be the english team Manchester United(M.u.f.c). I've been supporting them for close to 8 years now.
They're a truely brilliant team espicially when the going gets tough on them. They have the never say die attitude thats why I like them =)

I also love watching international tournaments such as the world cup and Euro. Can't wait for this years world cup 2010 HEHEHEHE!!

And the champions league as well. Too bad I live on the other side of the world, when they kick off its usualy 2-3am here. I'll still dragg my bum out of bed to watch the match thou.

I played soccer for over 20 years, great game. Went to a lot of games when working in London and we followed West Ham United.
We were in the stands when Geoff Hurst missed a penalty shot against Gordon Banks at Upton Park in an FA Cup game. Wow, that was something.
One thing I despair in soccer is the diving and I hope they really crack down on it during the World Cup this year.
I created a little poll asking about diving:

Hey Timo,

Have to agree... hate two things about football (soccer)... diving and everyone going up to referee and protesting all the time. I know of no other sport so bad with either.

Didn't think anyone would reply!

I support the Wellington Phoenix from New Zealand in the A-League, and Hull city in the premier league. Love the game to bits, looking forward to watching New Zealand at the world cup! We will probably lose every game but oh well smile

I try and play as much as i physically can, but have stopped for a bit hoping the NSD will kick in and i can get back into playing.
