In the USA its between $22-$40. The $22 is mail order from the top pharmacy listed on the LDN website. $7 of the $22 is for shipping and they don't accept insurance. Maybe they would ship to you?

good luck!!!

Good luck with LDN

Hope you manage to get your prescription made up soon and get started on what could be the answer for you.

You sound as though you have a great relationship with your GP. I am so gald he listened to you and is willing to help.

Once again, good luck with it all, I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Just letting you know I contacted the
Wickham House Compounding Pharmacy

Sending my script off today. Will have the LDN next week and it is costing me $135 for 100 capsules. Will cost less when I get the 200 at once instead of 2 lots of 100 but they sugested I try it first before paying out for a whole 200.

Need to get myself organised as far as symptom ratings etc now and then each day after starting the LDN. Will let you all know how I get on with it.

Thanks again for the links.

Hi AussieGirl,
Congratulations on getting the LDN. That must have felt like a shock to see your doctor approve you for it. It's not too often someone's doctor will prescribe something he or she is unfamiliar with. Sounds like good news to me. clown I hope it works well for you.
Take care,
James

Hi there, I just wanted to wish you luck with it. Please do keep us posted, as if I crap out on biologics altogether, I'm going to campaign for LDN. The more anecdotal evidence we have, the more likely my doctors will take it seriously!

I'm very glad your GP listens to you. It's so important, isn't it.

Hugs,

Kat

Hi,
Yes I think it is great he was so open to this.
I must confess, there are 2 doctors at this office.
I usualy see the other one DR T for my AS, he is the one that diagnosed me. He is a wonderful doctor but more standard type. At least thats my perseption of him.
Where as Dr M is a lot younger and more open to other ideas.
It helps also that he is not from Australia so I have had to spell out medications I have wanted etc.
I made a concious decision to go see DR M for the LDN.

But glad he was so supportive. He googled it while I was in his office and I know he will go home and research it further. That is the type of doctor he is. I hope then he may in the future prescribe this for other patients or at least suggest it to them.

No idea if it will help me, but it is worth a go.
Thanks for the support.
