Hey, I had no idea this site had so much stress and conflict going on. I know all internet communities have their battles and troubles, but somehow assumed this place would be immune - after all, it's very being is supposed to be about support, I would have thought.

Still, obviously people who are hurting physically are likely to get more het up and angry at times, it makes sense.
Also, I work in professional web hosting and know how much work and resources are needed for a busy, dynamic site such as this. (If there's anything I can do to assist, let me know. I'm fairly useful, technically at least!).

I think all members who have gotten something positive from joining here who can spare a few dollars/shekels/yen/pieces of eight should consider hitting the donation button up there. I will be - like, next week when I have a few spare dollars myself.

Proof positive of failed declotification--there are more than 3 words in that dissertation. Time to restudy those tutorials.

1. Mig I totally hope you don't leave. You are the most intelligently diplomatic person I've ever met and your shoes could not be filled. The Glue! The Glue! We need the Glue!!!

2. I believe things are taken way too much to heart. I've tried the NSD MORE than a few times and have even been crippled while on it. I've tried so many things John has offered- and still I'm lost. I believe everything John says is solely to help our health and is probably closest to the truth out of anyone else! (I said probably). I will probably try NSD again, but I had to get rid of the cripple in me with meds again. I believe the gut is like a paper bag. You can wax it to keep water in (NSD) but if it's got some good holes then wax aint gonna do a thing. Cover the holes then wax will work. Thank you John for who you are- I would not be the person I am today if I didn't listen to you. I do think you have a deeper understanding about this (these) illness than most others.

3. This world turns on misinformation or God, pick one.

4. We should have like a yearly or semi annual event- anything! Where people could pay to play to win something- you know community involvement!

4. Alan as a mod and we will be reading vertically. Hey there you go, a 'reading vertical' contest! We need to stay vertical... (sorry Alan- I love the cheap shots)

Yes Allan I've seen your back remember? That's probably why I figure you're up for a shot here and there. lol,

No, I've given up alcohol Allan. There are passages in the Bible that caution me. Until I figure that out...none. I've also quit smoking!

Quit Pizza? Well lets pray that never happens,

What time will the boys be here? It sounds implied as though they were already coming! lol

Reading vertically like the screen will be on its side I'm imagining.

Mig, I want to thank you for your post. I can honestly say I had no idea what it takes behind the scenes to make this work. I can also say I've been oblivious to the "spats" going on. People have to understand that everyone is different. This isn't a site of a small home town community, it's a diverse group worldwide with different views, cultures, treatments, medical practices, things that work for some and not for others, but we all share and should be respectful of these diversities. I'm so sorry it has come to this point and I just hope you don't leave. You are so loved and respected and appreciated and the "glue that holds us together".

Though i am very new to this site i feel it is like a living being . . . infact more . . . . . . . . . my specials thanks for all the admins in the team and thanks a lot for this post and the story of Kickas.

I really did'nt realise that’s so much work is going behind the screen though i am a Business analyst (want to contribute in anyway i could, i am free most of time & working only partime as software consultant) never really put my thought into it - sorry, but now i am inn for anything.

In the first month of joining here, I realised that we are a family here, irrespective as to where we stay or do ... we are into AS together and we will fight together, this is a wonderful site because of all the exchanges of ideas, experience, arguments and more importantly empathetic attitude (healthy ones).
