Oh my Michelle, I have been so angry at this tragedy. With all the thousands of acres already leased and not being used for drilling, there is no need for off shore drilling in the first place. What a mismanaged waste. The impacts of this one spill will be felt for the next 20 years. I can't imagine what it must be like to live in the Gulf coast and have this effect you directly everyday. Please take care of yourself Michelle, try not to overdo. It is going to be very easy to work yourself into a major flare. Pace yourself, easier said than done I know. I continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs
Cindy

WOW, this is just horrible news...I mean just horrid. I know this may be a dumb question but will BP take responsibility? I mean everyone involved like you with your boat, all the other fishermen, shrimpers, crabs ect.. then like someone saaid the farmers, crops ect.. can all of you be reimbursed or sue for damages because it affects your livelyhood?

Im not a lets just sue kind of person but most of these are the only way these poor people have to make money and the water, the wildlife, the fish, shrimp, crabs will be dead and ruined for years to come...anyway just wondering about that part of it.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hi Michelle,

When I heard of this latest catastrophe, I immediately thought of you, and how this would affect your shrimp business.

As we get much of our fish and shrimp, from the states (without the sulfite preservatives), I now wonder how much this catastrophe, will affect us. I know I will likely have to cut back on the amount of shrimp and fish I eat.

Please take care, and definitely don't over do it.

Hugs, my dear friend and sister.

Yeah, I remember the piece Time magazine did when that happened, it was like my first look at a disaster through "adult eyes", I felt horrible for those poor people...
