If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

If anyone qualifies all the aspects of immigration as Age, Education, Work and Designation, Language - can medical test be a problem to immigrate to CANADA, AUSTRALIA or EUROPE.
For CANADA or AUSTRALIA or EUROPE i qualify as per the points and the process, but am unsure if my ANKYLOSING SPON's will cause me to be rejected on medical grounds. (i am posting this as i dont have excess funds to try for diffent countries so have to be sure)
Please assist with your valuable info.

I don't know for sure, Manju, and things could have changed in the 25 years since we immigrated to Canada. At that time, we all (the whole family including children) had to have complete medicals.
I'll see if I can find out more for you.

Hi Manju There is a health check for Australia which includes a chest x-ray. Only TB is mentioned in migration legislation as precluding the grant of a visa, but the applicant is given the opportunity to undergo treatment in most cases. Other health conditions are assessed on the potential cost and impact on the Australian public health system resulting from the possible use of health and community services. Unless you have fusion, they probably wouldn't pick AS up. Their main concerns relate to hepatitis, TB and HIV. Good luck Felicity

Hey Manju, Here's some Aussie links for you: http://www.immi.gov.au/media/fact-sheets/22health.htm#bhttp://www.australia-migration.com/page/Going_For_Medicals/11There is a huge Indian presence in both large and smaller cities in Oz. Aussies on the whole (well, the reasonably educated ones, anyway...) are very welcoming. Don't be put off by stories in the media about attacks on Indians. Yes, there have been a couple, but from reading the news media here, it seems this is mostly gangs against Indian gang members. Of course, they forget to mention that there are far more attacks on white Anglo-Saxon Aussies - less newsworthy... Good luck with the application process, if you decide to go ahead...

Hi Manju. I went to the government website to see. Here's a link to the medical exam page: Canadian Medical Exam Permanent resident status would be required prior to going for the medical exam. Good luck, Manju. I hope it works out. Hugs,
Kat

Thanks for info, immigrating to Canada or Australia needs medical examination and i am not sure if i will pass the medical examination with my Ankylosing Spondilitis, so i think the best bet is UK as i qualify for the HSMP visa program lets see, i will consult a proffesional.
Anyway can advise me on UK support for AS.

Your AS may not disqualify you, however, Manju. I would give a serious look at all three. The two disqualifying factors in Canada are: a communicable disease (I think that was the wording, but don't recall), which AS isn't; and an illness that will be a drain on the healthcare system. AS could be that, but it isn't always. As you said, consult a professional. That's what we pay them for, yes? Hugs,
Kat

hiya, I immigrated from Canada - England with AS without any problems. I am registered on the UK NHS ( National Health System) system and receive all my treatment and meds via the NHS. (prescriptions for all meds: Methotrexate, Humira, Diclofenac and Lansoprosole cost me £100 per year on the NHS in the UK) I was diagnosed before i moved to the UK and I dont ever remember having to "declare" it on any visas or immigration forms. Perhaps because I was immigrating from Canada (which also has a public health system and free medical care?? it used to when i lived there) all the best!
