Im not sure I may just be dumb but who would buy some sludged, ruined land that will take years to clean and be able to use it for anything for forever?

Taberge, with all due respect, it's very easy to say just up and sell. It's not just livelihood that's at stake here, it's generations of history and an entire ecosystem. This is no natural disaster like a hurricane. Fact is that this occurred because proper regulations were not enforced. I appreciate where you're coming from, but this is nobody's fault that lives there. But they are the ones who will lose. Big time.
Hugs, Oops I did not quote properly. I was not talking about the oil spill. I was refering to the poster above me linking the CNN story about Mossville residents. Mossville is part of my community and on the west side of the state and no where near the oil spill.
