Sorry to put a negative spin on things, but I'm pretty depressed right now. The diet was working well for me before. I never had problems with Pineapple, grapes, coconut slice, pavalova so why now? I dont get it. Im in alot of pain right now and it sucks. Need help

Hey Seb
Our internet has been down for a week or so, just catching up and gutted to read you are struggling again no

I can only relate my own experience and say that with the coconut baking I think drinking more fluids is needed (cant give a scientific reason for this, Im afraid!) and just generally eating all safe things in moderation. So not too much of any particular food.

I started going a bit mad with sweet things lately (craving sugar has somehow taken over craving starch) and I have been feeling terrible - partly AS pains, partly digestion issues and just generally feeling low, no energy, irritable etc
If you were not on NSD you would probably not eat loads of coconut slice, fruit and pavlova. Just balance things out a little.

I find a lot of fruit intake very hard to digest.

I ate a fair few prunes wrapped in bacon yesterday and that upset my tummy big time!

It all gets too much sometimes - all we all really want is a diet that we can stick to which will help us get better. Sometimes I feel like it does not matter what you do it comes back to bite you!

I have been in touch with a nutrition therapist and am going to see what info they may be able to offer me.

I have a detailed questionnaire to fill out, which then has to be fully analised prior to the first consultation. So it may be a while before I have anything to share on here.

I hope you are feeling much better soon, hon.

Tink rainbow

i could never relate to this subject til now.
2 nights in a row i ate raisins about 3 hrs before bed. mind you i eat raisins in afternoon. so raisin overload? omg i felt nausous i had to poo, my face got pale, i felt sick. after going to bathroom i got in bed and in about 5 mins i felt better. body wise just a tiny bit achy.

Then i ate sauteed onions last night . i ate these the first 2 weeks on NSD w/o issue. BUT NOT NOW. i got 'stomach noises'. then at about 5am [10 hrs after eating them] my collar bones hurt and my elbows hurt and my shoulder and hips. the pain wasnt terrible but it was terribly noticable. 10 hrs later and after a poo...gone like it never happened.

moral of the story... if you dont learn from your mistakes the first time, try again....that'll teach ya!
