If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey Donette I am totally made up that you are doing so much better after so much too'ing and fro'ing and generally struggling. Nice to hear that your "pleasure and pain therapy" is having such an impact! Hope you continue to do well, hon. Take care, Tink

Thanks Sunny and Louise!!
"Combo" is right. I've been tinkering with my treatments since diagnosis and FINALLY cracked the code (hopefully, knocks on wood).
Wow Louise, I bet you are tired! That is not an easy profession! Actually neither Physio-ing NOR Mum-ing are for the faint of heart!
Yesterday when my torturist/PT was working lose a fascia in my arm I said through gritted teeth, "I would never make it in this profession." He just keeps on pummelling my arm and says without skipping a beat, "Oh its very easy over here in my side" as opposed to the patient's side.
I told him he must have a healthy dose of "sadism" running through his veins! lol, laughter is a good distraction from pain, yeah?
Good times. (sniffs, wipes a tear)

Thanks Alinus, Kurumi and Tiago.
The ongoing therapy kind of cemented in me the need to follow a strict diet. I figured the less inflammation I had the less pain my therapy would cause! Fear and pain are good motivators!
The first 6 visits I would drive into the PT parking lot and have to sit there and deep breathe for a minute or two to psyche myself up for going in there again. Yep, it is THAT painful.

and if the PT is a sadist, just wondering what the patient might be but really, so glad this is doing you good.

good on ya Donette!! you should give yourself a big pat on the back as you are the one making all the positive changes and applying them. I visit the physio every 9 to 14 days and have been doing so for the last 5 years, my AS would be much much worse without this ongoing treatment. Physios are fabulous!! Thanks Warren, if you ever read this!! Keep up the good work Donette, you are finally experiencing note worthy benefits, that makes all the hard work totally worth all the efforts!! well done & keep up the good fight.

The correct term is "Physioterrorist" ! I dunno though - for a PT like me the oft spouted saying "This hurts me as much as it hurts you" is pretty true! All that bending forward over the patients kills my neck and thoracic spine and ribs by the end of the day. All that pushing doesn't do wonders for my arthritic thumb either...
Louise Happy to be a physio by day, not happy to be a Spondy 24/7!

Oh Louis, I can't imagine how PT-ing would hurt you. Mine has a table that he is constantly moving up and down. Once I was holding my breath (bad habit during PT, I know) and when I opened my eyes the table was going down and I thought for sure I was passing out!!
You are an awesome woman. I just watered my flowers and yeah, I was thinking about my arthritic parts and pieces! Feeling bad for your poor thumb!
I can't remember if I've already shared this but my PT's favorite joke is:
"Do you know the difference between a Physical Therapist and a Terrorist?................you can negotiate with a Terrorist."
bla ha ha!!!
