If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I hope the doc can get to the bottom of it quickly, doesn't sound like that was much fun!

James, I'm so glad you updated us on this. I was a bit worried when we didn't hear anything after your last episode and hosp. visit. I had no idea you actually had to see a dermatologist yet to confirm the obvious allergy to the med. Cindy

James I don't know what to say regarding how tough it seems for you to get the care you need without such long delay.
BUt I sure hope you know or someone around you is reminding you and aware how physically an dmentally tough you must be to keep plodding on with all you've already dealt with. You are amazing in all you can deal with

Hi Cindy, My rheumy probably hasn't seen this type of reaction before, so she is probably sending me to the dermatologist to find out exactly what it is. I've just updated the photo collection which can be found in another part of this thread. Take care, James

Hi Steve, I can see a dermatologist on the 17th, and I'm still having the blister reaction at the moment, and I even have pictures (just upload new ones today, which I will put on a cd before the appointment), so I don't think that appointment will be a flop. This seems like something that needs to be addressed right away, but it also seems like a typical experience for me (with biologic reactions). I wonder if I have to wait because I was calm as I can be when I saw my rheumy.
From what I understand, you have certainly put up with alot of different things yourself. Thanks for the reply.
Take care, James

Hi James Just wanted to let you know I have following your story for sometime now. I hope the dermatologist will be able to confirm what we already know. If you are off Enbrel and the blisters go away by the 17th then what were they going to do? Guess? It's good that you have pictures but wouldn't have been easier for them to see the blisters right away. Sorry, I am either missing something or I am being too logical. Anyway I hope your reation subsides and your appointment goes well.
I can not defeat you but I will not let you win

hi james,
looked at those new photos, sorry! they look pretty nasty. though i agree that it would have been best for them to see them in person, maybe even biopsy them, those photos are pretty clear, so hopefully they will help.
and those last two photos don't look like your hand, LOL! cute!

Hi Sue, I thought I deleted those two fuzzy pictures... maybe not. I just replaced them with the 2 good birdie pictures I had so far. It has been a really rough week for us with the inlaws, with some bad news about one of them arriving today, so I haven't been able to get any good pictures of the parakeets during the daytime. I will try to get to it soon though. Take care, James

Hi Jeff, You make a very good point, as well as the others have that have commented already. I'll call the dermatologist's office in the morning and see if I can push my way in. The blistering problem is obviously not under control anymore. Thanks for the reply, Take care, James
