If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Yeah! Loving the new sig line too!!! That's sure telling it how it is! That's pretty heroic work there, going into pizza hut and picking up a pizza for your wife. I too have done the strip off the topping trick! OOOhhhh it's nice! Are you doing better now you have sorted your cholesterol problem btw? I hope so.

I just looked back here and realize that my wondering was a real downer upon the fun spirit of the hating the diet thread. I wish I could say I'll never do that again, but I am unfortunately frequently tactless in my enthusiasm and queries. My suggestion is to try and take me with a grain of salt ~

somehow i missed the bulemia pjst. umm well i would think the comfort foods have more calories and, in general, a 'heavy' food that someone watching their weight would avoid. for the most part, the latter list is healthier so you prob didnt feel guilty eating it.
i personally have never dealt w/ that but have dealt w/ being overweight/dieting and food allergies most of my life. now, since ive had AS and recently the addition of NSD, its a struggle to put on weight. the biggest i ever was was 205 lb. now im 106 lb. it scares the [*bleep*] out of me. i would like to gain at least 20 lbs.

Oh no! That is really hard for you, because you can't eat much in the way of weight gaining foods. Plus which, I personally am getting a bit tired of protein, salads, and fruit. It makes me not want to eat at all sometimes ~ like lunch today I just had some juice. I've almost always been a healthy weight person. Healthy, but not too skinny or tubby, but I can see how this starch avoidance diet is going to make me drop weight like crazy if I don't keep an eye on it. Plus, I really like the mac and cheese fakeout!

oh yay im glad you liked it i mean its not the real thing fo sho but its similar and easy and quick. my theory is 'its easier to maintain than it is to gain' but im working on it. w/ the addition of the hot flax porridge [recipe section] hopefully ill start putting some on. fingees crossed that the flax doesnt flux me up in the pain department.

Teehee. Flax used to make me WAY TOO HAPPY, but maybe it's time for another try. Last time I ate flax was in the late 90's and I was up for over 24 hours. I am too old for that!

Erica, you are an absolute darling Never a downer, silly billy! You chatter on about anything you like, hon! I started this thread to try and get back on track with the NSD and to have a place where we can all be honest and share our problems with the diet, so we don't feel like we are the only one's who find it tough sometimes. Take care you and say whatever you like, no worries

This thread is awesome. I've struggled with this stinken diet so much, it's nice to know I'm not the only one. I found the serotonin info quite interesting, because I always wondered if people on the Atkins diet for a long time had emotional problems, because I had heard the brain needed a certain amount of carbs.?? Not having any medical training I didn't know which kind of carbs(simple/complex) the brain needed to remain healthy. Nice to know I can get my serotonin level up with some dark chocolate.
Diet change has improved my RA. I feel best eating raw veggies and some fruits and avoiding grains, sugars, nightshades, beans and dairy. Sed rate dropped from 65 to 19, but it took over a year. www.fatsickandnearlydead.com excess fat/oils = pain for me recipes for raw food on Youtube "raw food romance" and "healing josephine" Josephine is in remission from RA after two years by change diet/exercise
