I'm still wondering about this out of place rib. What was out of place? Did it slip out of one of the supporting notches at an end?

That's just peachy news! (I love steroids, too). When the pain is gone, it's always eye-opening how I was always managing to deal with it when it was at its worst. It sounds about the same for you, too.

thanks!

yeh, its only once the pain is lifted sometimes that you realize, that was ridiculous! how in the world i ever survived that much pain is beyond me! though the area is sore and the muscles still in spasm a little, sitting is not aggravating it. bones were really meant to stay where they were put in the first place. OMG what a difference.

even with my SI joint bothering me more the last 2 days, and my IBS flaring, i don't care, this i can handle. the other, i really couldn't! and to think without any pain meds either.

but i know you and others here know, and that helps. heart

Sue

I am lucky I have never had problems with my ribs, but after reading up on it I have checked to see how much my ribs expand and it is significantly less than my husband and children

They could get to 6 or 7 inches, mine are 2 or 3.

Anyway, just letting you know your shares do help other folk so please do keep sharing

Love Joanne

I keep a stash of Pred on hand just in case I have a UC or AS flare when I can't get in contact with one of my doctors. Somehow, over the years, I have amassed Pred pills from 20mg down to 1mg. Sometimes it help just to know they are there if I need them.

At one time I was taking 40mg per day for over 6 months. It was not a good time for me. That is when I learned about the different kinds of immunosuppresents.
