Kat, sorry you are sick. This is a reminder to me and the rest of us on immunosuppressants that we need to take care of #1.

Kat

C'mon,

I think you should get out more. Quit layin' around and letting the world pass you by. Join a few clubs or volenteer. I don't think you are doing half as much as most of us here. Get on the stick, do your share. Theatre? How hard can that be??? I was in a play once, played the lead named Bloodso Ratso, Had to memorize 60 pages and rehearsed a few months before the show, PIECE OF CAKE!!! The show ran 3 nights and then we all had to go party. A walk in the park!!!

Play hurt and quit whining!!!

I can not defeat you but I will not let you win

OMG Kat! You are amazing, but how do you do it?
You make me think of the old saying "Want something done? Ask a busy person!" Please give yourself some rest and recuperation, like YESTERDAY!

There is nothing like a long long long pampered rest to get me back on form. I do hope there is a window of opportunity for you to have one

I usually book friday evenings to monday mornings just for me when I need that time to help me out

Then I get my hubby and children to cook for me, bring me drinks of water and I watch nice films etc. I use tapping too.

It can be hard for me to cut out like this because I am a doer and these lot I have just mentioned really are not LOL

But they have learned, without mom on form the whole ship goes down so when it's time, it's time.

I am a valuble asset, just like you are.

Loving hugs and stuff

Joanne

You guys so rock! Put a huge smile on my face. I'm at home today, except when I'm at the dentist having that broken back molar looked at. I must be at work tomorrow and Friday, as my co-worker has booked them off, but am off work all next week.

The reno (other than the last of the electrical) is done for the time being. I put my foot down. I want my house back for a while, especially since we have to recoup the reno fund. I'll spend next week at rehearsal, doctors appointments, going through storage bins and blissfully sleeping in every day!!

We'll be up north for Thanksgiving, coming home on Tuesday, so a nice visit with my family. Sammee, thanks for looking out for my girls. They're both at high school now and such beautiful people.

I'm not quite so brain dead today. It's our company golf day and I wasn't going anyway as I have rehearsal tonight. A full day of work and then rehearsal, I can handle. A full day of golf and then rehearsal, no way, so I wasn't golfing anyway. Good thing, it's cold and rainy today and I probably would have caught my death of cold!!! laugh2

My sweetie decided he wanted to make me stew for dinner last night, something warming for the icky days we've been having. Except, our stewing pot has been in storage since last winter so we didn't have a pot big enough. He went on a mission to buy a new stewing pot. An hour and a half later he came home with a canning pot (the kind with the rack that you put the bottles on for home canning?). It worked. By 10:00 we had homemade stew! I can't wait to taste it. I had some last night, but couldn't taste anything between the busted molar scraping the hell out of my tongue and the cold.

Warm hugs,

Kat

Kat, I sorry you have been feeling so bad. Your busy life makes my head spin, I don't know how you do it all. It's been cold and rainy here for the last 3 days, just on the verg of snow at night. I really hate this transition weather.
Please slow down a bit and rest, take care of yourself. Hmmmm, stew, that's sound like a good idea.

Cindy, I'm driven. Honestly, I think that's what keeps me going sometimes. That and I refuse to have my life dictated by this AS. Sometimes it bites me in the butt and I must take heed, but other than that it's take no prisoners, you know?

I hate this weather, too. And we get a slightly colder version of it in January a lot of the time which just slays me. Gets into my bones and I just want to run away!

It's quite fortuitous that I'd already booked next week off work, so I will be able to slow down a little and let my body recover. I didn't take my Enbrel last night, so that will help. The stressors in our lives are not going away any time soon, which is why I keep busy. Better that than sitting at home and stewing about it. If you'll excuse the pun. wink

Speaking of stewing, my sweetie promised to heat some up for lunch!!!

Warm hugs,

Kat
