If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi Everyone,
I had my first Remicade infusion 5 days ago. So far I have had no major changes other than feeling pretty tired.
Just wondering how long it has taken those of you out there on anti tnfs to experience the benifits of these meds?
Also, to what extent did your symptoms improve?
I was hopeful that I would suddenly feel 100% better after a couple of days or so but I'm realising that was probably unrealistic.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. Meanwhile, I will continue to corss my fingers...

I felt the benefits of Humira really fast. But, we are all different so give it time.

Hi triathlete. Some people get results very quickly and others don't so don't worry. Remicade is like all other drugs and its effects vary as much as the people taking them. As I'm fond of saying, we're all wired differently so expect different results/reactions etc. Some members have been on 2 or 3 biologics as one or the other didn't work well enough. I'm waiting to get approval for Humira and will be hoping for quick changes but, realistically, I'll accept it if the results aren't what I wanted.
Good luck!
Timo

Congrats on the 1st infusion. I'm 2 ahead of you and feeling nothing yet. On the 1st one, the only thing I noticed was a weird dizziness about 12 hrs after the infusion, when I got home from work. If I looked down at the floor (discovered this while watching my cats get into a scuffle at my feet), then I would get a 'spinning room' feeling. It stopped when I looked up. Tested it out a few times over the next hour and it continued the same. Decided to go to bed and see if it persisted the next day. It didn't. And it didn't happen after the next 2 infusions, so maybe it was just a coincidence? Go figure.
After the 2nd one, I had a few good days. Thought this was an early response. I suppose now, it was just a normal fluctuation of my symptoms. It's a month since 3rd infusion and NOTHING has changed. If anything, I seem a bit worse. Grrrrr.
Anyway, good luck to you. Hope this is magic like others have experienced.
