I swore I answered this already..Bill (my hubby) had both upper and lower last tuesday morning and everything went great..about 10 years ago he had 1 polyp so I was pretty sure there would be several this time but there was none...YAY!

I hope all goes well with you and it will all be ok.

Hugs,

Lisa

hahaha.....funny I was thinking the exact same thing as yourself. The last 'virginal' area on my body. Everything has been viewed, examined, prodded. No shame left as they say. Ha! smile

I slept for 90 minutes afterward. And gas, my oh my. Champion. smile

For a couple of days afterwards, my ribs sure hurt. Felt like a huge metal snake drilled through them.

Best part. I 'lost' 21 pounds so I really was full of it. lol smile

Quote: "the sulfasazin was problay the biggest reason..." Sooner - The doctor said that it was 'probably the sulphasalzine?' Is that so? Am NOT surprised to learn that.

That SSZ sure ripped my guts apart. Appalling medication, disasterous - never again.

I guess it had to happen Sooner rather than later smile

That's really good news that they found the polyps and got rid of them before they could turn nasty.

I've had 6 or 7 colonoscopies in the last 20 years now, and get to have one every 5 years from now on - my Dad died of bowel cancer, and I also had irritabal bowel symptoms from an early age.

I vomitted after attempting to drink all the solution as required, every single time.

For the last one I was given capsules to take with lots of water instead of the horrible tasting solution.

I think it was after taking the 12th capsule with water that I vomitted.

The actual colonoscopy was a breeze - pardon the pun smile

I'm glad it's over and it looks like they found what's been going on with you.

Warm hugs,

Kat
