If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Micki - 40 IOP is high. Agree with Taberge, what is causing the high IOP. Could it be stress Please do get thee to a glaucoma specialist - need to see someone who has the full equipment. A Heidelberg, need to check the retina for damage. IF no damage, then, breath a sigh of relief. But, a high IOP 'can' lead to glaucoma, and there are drugs other than Diamox.
Please do look after your eyes. I am most concerned for you.

If you do have glaucoma or you suspect that this pressure has been around for a while, you will need certain test done especially a vision field test. This will determine exactly what damage has occurred due to pressure on the optic nerve. You yourself may not recognize the loss in vision because it occurs in such a way that you will begin to compensate for the loss of vision.

Thank you all for the concern. I saw a glaucoma specialist 3 times last week. We had yet another snow storm so I was happy to stay in town with my local ophthalmologist. She called the specialists office and that doc is on vacation and my doc is off next week. Anyway, in addition to the drops, I called my psych and got more Ativan. My eye always gets worse when dealing with my X and now that he has moved here and it is the holidays I'm dealing with him a lot. I took some Ativan yesterday and could feel my eye pressure going down. My doc also suggests a lower dose of Diamox (I was on 500mg ER BID), but I'm wary. I had really bad side effects; muscle weakness, tingling fingers, major fatigue, the feeling I was going to die, etc.
