Hi All,

I recently moved to Austin from New York and am looking for a Rheumatologist here. I trust the advice given on this board, so if there are any Austinites out there that have a good Rheumy that has experience with AS, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks!!

Dr. Tina Bunch or Dr. Chadha with Austin Regional Clinic are both very good and their medical assistants and office staff, etc. are easy to work with.

I have heard that John D. Reveille, M.D. is one of the country's best. He is at the University of Texas at Houson.

Dr. Reveille is not taking new patients.

He has told me that since Dr. Frank Arnett his partner in research has retired, he had to do the research side full time now. If you do enter the TASC study then you will probably see him. I usually see him twice a year.

There are many other good doctors there at UT Physicians division of Rheumatology.

Thanks everyone - I called UT Houston and got lucky - there's an opening for me tomorrow and I will probably even get to see Dr. Reveille. I figure the 3 hour drive is worth seeing an expert! They are seeing if they can get me into the TASC study.

Thanks again, and Sooner - it's okay - I just moved here and have no allegiance to UT yet! In fact, I have family up in OK so I might even have to be on your side!
