If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

My advice to you all - don't taste Simponi. lol My rheumy *finally*, after years of enbrel petering out on me, decided to move me to Simponi. He and his nurse gave me an autoinjector of Simponi to take home and try. Read the instructions, googled some info, but do you think I could get the silly thing to work? No matter what I did right, it would not stab me and deploy the juice inside. I was staring into the needle part when it finally clicked and spat all over my face. Yep. It tastes pretty bad. $2500 of med all over the place. The nurse felt badly for me and found a way to order a new one for me - for free. You'd think after years of injecting enbrel with the ordinary injections and pre-filled syringes, that I could handle a simple auto-injector. lol I think I'll let the nurse auto-inject me when it comes in next week. And I've made sure the pharmacy is ordering the plain old pre-filled syringes for me from now on. lol I swear I can still taste that gross taste in my mouth. ick. Thought I'd share. Hope you're all well.

Oh Sweetheart,
I know it was so not funny, but I wish I could have been there..lol
I think after all both of us have been thru we would have just exploded into laughter might have cried first but then we would have laughed.
I am SO glad that at least a couple of things have been going your way.
I am still waiting for our week on the beach!
Love you girl!

Megan! Like Lisa, I don't know whether to cry or laugh at that! I choose laughing, it DOES sound like a scene from a KA sitcom or something (or "Annie Hall" when Woody Allen during a '70s party, sneezes at the worst time possible) I guess this has a better chance of being funny to you next week if you get some help from the medication, sure hope so!

Hi Megan, I'm glad the nurse was nice enough to get you a replacement for free. As funny sounding as the squirt in the face part was lol, I know I would have been really mad if it happened to me... mostly because those meds are sooo expensive, and secondly because something squirt me in the face lol. I'm glad it's being taken care of... you must be feeling so relieved about that too (as much as I would). Take care, James

hmm, I asked my doctor about taking Simponi for the Scoliosis and he said no. Not enough literature on it. I was disappointed because I read they are going to be expanding the use of this drug: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/207720.php

Megan, I did the same thing with my second Humira shot that I gave to my on vacation. I called Humira and they sent me a pack of 2 pens. I got squirted on my leg, but I know the feeling of wanting to cry with the expense of it. Thank God for samples and nice nurses.

Now I know: never look at the barrel of a loaded syringe! I hope the Simponi works. How are you feeling otherwise?

Meggie, you take the cake, that's for damned sure!! There are so many smart aleck remarks that I could say, that I can't think of one!! You're just lucky that the syringe wasn't full of indelible ink! Glad they got you a new one. I hope it helps you. Love and hugs,
Kat
