Wednesday - physio for 30 mins. Excellent. More tips on the exercises. Says NOT to let head bend forward or backwards, must stay level on spine, and when rotatng, keep head on the level. Thisi is to stop cervcals being 'put out of place' whst dong exercises, any of em. So always keep neck aligned 'to' spine.

Practice stretches and isometric exercises in between physio appts.

Friday. Walked approx 1/2 mile, to rail station and back. Enquire about rail tickets and purchase snr. rail card - Paris here we come! (Eyes and rheumi).

I planned on running up the canyon this morning, but when I got up there was snow on the road. Instead of running out side I went to the gym and spent an hour on the elliptical.

Today I swam 1,000 yds in about 45 minutes. We're in the process of packing up the house so we can take of on a road trip Tuesday. Going to make sort of giant half moon from WA to WY to CO to AZ to SoCA to NoCA and back up the coast. Right now I despise the state of Washington. I know it's unreasonable, but that's just how I feel. We're leaving the house in show-ready condition so that we can list it if we decide to stop driving somewhere... I'm thinking Palm Springs. Somewhere as opposite to Washington as possible. Anyway, my hubby has mapped out all the pools on the trip until we get to western Colorado. I admit to feeling resentful still about having to take care of myself and swim. Truly what I want to do is stay in bed for a few months... but I can't so maybe if I pray about it the resentment will go away. Good job everyone with staying in "the game". I love seeing your posts here every day. rainbow

I haven't seen The Swimmer, but the plot summary sounds familiar. I read a lot of Cheever the year I lived on Long Island though...

The exercise is helping my leg strength. Went out to dinner and thought I wouldn't be able to stand up out of the low booth. Had no one to help me, hubby was behind me in the booth, kids out starting the car, yikes. Thought about asking the bus boy for a hand. Chickened out, so I just gave it a go myself.

**I stood right up.** It shocked me. I giggled right out loud!

Like, I have quad muscles again. I know the AS is damaging stuff, but the inactivity was damaging quite a bit too, and making me ultra weak!!! Yay, the bazillion squats in place of the hard stuff in class are paying off!!!

Thursday:Salsa exercise video 30 minutes (Caliente!!!)
Friday:60 minute class, step and Jillian Michaels butt/back buster workout
Monday:Step and bands, weights. 60 minutes. I did way more ON the step today. At first I was SO careful, (a fall will end it for me, can you imagine breaking my fused wrists trying to catch a fall, ouch) But I'm getting braver and more used to how high my foot needs to go to contact the step each time. At least 8 drops of sweat. Progress.

Today I swam 1,000 yds in about 45 minutes again. Now all I have to do is clean the wood floors, hem a couple of curtains, and we're out of here. THANK GOD. heart
