If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Beloved, You read it right; Intradiscal Electrothermal Annuloplasty; that is the next plan for my lower back. My injections went well yesterday, we laughed and talked and he SAID I WAS A TROOPER!. But it really did hurt. While shooting my back up; I heard the young intern say something about; "that being a full moon".??? This new proceedure is a minimally invasive proceedure that is an alternative to screws, straps and titanium. I was reading along ......and then I read where they put the catheter inside the subject's disc, pressing against the posterior edge of the annulus!!!!! Immediately my butt cheeks tightened so hard and so fast that I broke the chair I was sitting on! Cripes!!! Pressing on the annulus seems completely unnecessary to me. Then they heat this electrode that denatures the collagen of the annulus!! Ouch! I want my mama!! And that coagulates (here we go again) the nerve endings, with the ultimate goal of relieving back pain. Answer me this: how in tarnation can pressing against my annulus, speeding chemicals into my back hulp me? I am in a dither. A LITTLE further downin the reading ( not my back) it says, that this method is not completely understood!!! And that hydrostatic pressure may lead to buckling of the annular lamella….. All I need is some kind of carbunckle.. Beloved, I don’t want to be a trooper, I donot want to be stalagmite, but I do want to feel better!! Let me a draw a conclusion. I love God, the people on this site, I try to be a good neighbor, but if Anklyslosing Spondy was a man: I would break him in half and feed him to the hogs; without much regret. Thanks for listening. I am struggling to keep working.
Trooper Lon or just T.L

I listened, and had a good chuckle at your wonderful way with words and the picture it conjured up for me. Scary stuff though - far too many big words. And if thats a "minimally invasive procedure" I definitely don't want to hear about the full on version!

You are a tough son of a gun. I hope that procedure gives you lots of relief because it sounds a lot tougher than anything that South Pole guy ever did.

Smed, there you go again being succinct. I still have 2 feet of very heavy snow in my back yard. The front yard is 3 foot high. I got behind on my driveway, so it is icy... How are you feeling? Do you have any followup from your surgery?????

Donna, Like everyone here, I want to feel better. Lin has insurance that I can buy, so I am looking into things while we are covered partially.. I'll bet the canned tomatoes taste pretty good?

Lon, I do hope this helps. You've had such a tough row to hoe in this life that you deserve to have a bit of a break!!
And, as usual, your description brought a chuckle to my throat. Bless you for that!
Love and hugs,
Kat
