Hey snow,Let me get this straight, you think I should take the heat as a sort of pilgram? What he told me Monday, was that if it hurt like hades, that meant the needle (note garden hose) is where the problem nerve is.
so pain is good?
And you seem so nice in those skiing films... with Dean & Orch

yes, I think that is how it goes.
they use the term burning, but it really isn't that hot.
I will know more later.
The injections were not as bad as what I had experinced, but it was a otugh one.

Just read your post on Endurance which said: Because Shackleton was such a leader and brought such confidence to their lives, they would go again, knowing they would not make their goal. But in trying, in making the effort, they became better men.
I want to be like Shackleton. Knowing that I need the love and respect of my fellow men / women, knowing that I could not survive without their best influence in my life: willing when necessary to take the lead and address the life changing events in life with all the gusto that is within me. So there you go...you are destined to be a pioneer and are willing to take the lead with this procudure.  I expect all the shots you've taken increase pain tolerance? Those spinal and SI injections are not too bad for me having had so many. I do wish you the best whatever you decide, and if you do this I hope it works. So you go first and bring us confidence.

OH MY GOODNESS Trouper Lon, The injections you have been going through are awful enough but this, this sounds unbelievably painful. Sometimes these docs don't think. A proceedure like this could be done under sedation if not general. Oh my dear please let us know the precises time and day so prayers can go up for you at the right time. Your continued sense of humor is an inspiration to me. Everytime I have to go in for proceedures I think of you, what you go through with flying colors and it gets me through whatever I'm in the middle of.

Snow,
Hi there. Of course when I speak to you, my memory takes me back to your ski video with Dean and Orch! I know you have been through a lot; but have never heard you complain! The meds they used last Monday do help with the leg pain. But the over all back pain and sitffness is still there.
