If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Per my understanding, it is not the naturally occurring fluoride that is of concern, it is the toxic sodium fluoride that is added to our municipal water supplies.

I'm a little skeptical to call the CDC a neutral party until all those dental professionals/other parties listed in that CDC link disclose any and all ties they have to the companies that provide the sodium fluoride for our drinking water, provide it for consumer products (e.g. toothpaste), etc.
This makes me cite my very remedial understanding of how members/advisers of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) were outed in court as having ties to organizations that would profit off those ill with lyme disease. One really needs to research this issue themselves. Also, there is apparently a flaw in the CDC "positive" test by where certain proteins that are analyzed are purposely omitted potentially under-reporting the number of those truly infected with the bacteria that causes lyme disease.
Hence my skepticism. While I'm not advocating that the Fluoride Action Network is bulletproof, personally I'm convinced that these "official" authoritative bodies aren't either.
Kind Regards, Jay

Right along with you Jay. Like, I don't trust these "official" authoritative bodies pushing fluoride either...

Can't wait to see if what you wrote gets posted, Molly! And I see from your link this condition is known as "fluorosis" (that makes logical sense, ) ...and that apparently people can get it not just from water but from food! While fluoride-rich water is perceived as a major cause for fluorosis, in reality, 50% of fluoride entry into the body is through food. Whether it's a plate of chaat-papri, liberally sprinkled with black salt, canned fruit juices, black tea, masala powders or Hajmola tablets—all are equally responsible for increasing fluoride content in the body. Of course, regular consumption over a sustained period and the body's immune system determine how badly the fluoride affects the system.

Per my understanding, it is not the naturally occurring fluoride that is of concern, it is the toxic sodium fluoride that is added to our municipal water supplies. Exactly. I just can't ignore the fact that when I go to my parents' home (no added fluoride) I start to regain my health. Once I get back to the city, I become sick again. I'm figuring out, that after period of recovery at my parents' home, I can come back to the city and so long as I remember to drink only properly filtered water, I'm fine for about a week or two. But even after a few weeks, I started getting sick again, and I think that's because I love my hot baths and night and fluoride is easily absorbed by the skin. After tracking my hair loss patterns, I also think that fluoride is responsible for losing my hair as well. There are still other things that bother me as well (ie sulphites), but I'm really thinking that fluoride is a piece of the puzzle for me. I think. Who knows, maybe I'll find out I was wrong, but the evidence is hard to ignore. The good news is that the city voted to REMOVE fluoride from municipal water. Seems silly that we're at the foot of the Rocky Mountains and have some of the best water in the world, and here we are messing with it. Only problem is that they say it will be another 6 months to a year before they actually stop adding it. They said it will take a year to remove the equipment that adds the sodium fluoride, and only then, they can stop adding it. Seems strange, but not much I can do about that. Molly, I cannot believe that places are voting to ADD it in this day and age. There have been a few cities that have voted to remove it from water here, not based on health effects, but because they believe that people should be allowed the CHOICE on whether they want to ingest fluoride or not. I personally believe we should try to keep it simple and as natural as possible, as much as humanly possible. (I know that someone i going to call me on this - I know that my using simponi is totally contradictory to that statement, but I am hoping that once I get the nausea under control, I can go back to NSD again.) Still wondering if many people diagnosed with "mild" AS here are actually struggling with effects due to fluoride... it would be such a lovely, simple "fix", wouldn't it?

Not only do these [*bleep*] add this toxic stuff (sodium fluoride as opposed to naturally occurring calcium fluoride) to the drinking water in many (most?) communities here in the U.S., my sister and I had taken fluoride pills for a period of time when we were youngsters per either a doctor's or dentist's direction (I think it was the former - it helps to explain why I have the outlook I do regarding medical "professionals"). I was also prescribed fluoride tablets by my dentist, and my mom made sure I took them every single day, from the age of about four until I was in high school. Makes me shudder to think about how much I actually ingested all those years. I can't find the report... but someone tested bottled drinks, soda, even milk, for fluoride content, and it was shocking. We get SO MUCH fluoride through everything else we drink, if you add it all up, some of us are getting insane amounts of fluoride. I would not be surprised to find that many, many people get sick in the future from over consumption of fluoride. I think most healthy people can handle it, but many of us with more sensitive constitutions cannot.

There was more than just the Times of India in the link - what?
As for chaat-puri (bel-puri) you'll only get that on Juhu beach, Mumbai...IF we are talking of the same item of course! Don't think too many of us outside of India are going to be consuming such of those food items! <VBG>
No. It's the water that worries me, that and toothpaste and mouth washes. I read ALL the labels and then refuse to buy/use. That way I have a choice, in the water? Choice is nill. Sigh.
Believe it is not put in the water in France, though they do use chlorine. Can smell it coming out of the tap. Horrible.

I stopped buying flouride toothpaste a few years ago and my teeth have never been better. I had cavities all the time when I used flouride and now my teeth are doing so much better. It is also the most active non metalic elemant on the periodic table. http://www.chemistryexplained.com/elements/C-K/Fluorine.htmlSheri

Diet change has improved my RA. I feel best eating raw veggies and some fruits and avoiding grains, sugars, nightshades, beans and dairy. Sed rate dropped from 65 to 19, but it took over a year. www.fatsickandnearlydead.com excess fat/oils = pain for me recipes for raw food on Youtube "raw food romance" and "healing josephine" Josephine is in remission from RA after two years by change diet/exercise
