Hang in there Jeff. You are doing all the right things. Hopefully the Pred. will get you through this tough ride. This AS monster is one constant emotional rollercoaster ride. Did you enjoy the concert anyway? Sometimes pushing ourselves to continue to get out there helps us through the tough parts. Then there's times we can't get out there and we just have to be gentle with ourselves. Sending you hugs
Cindy

Oh Jeffrey... hugss I'm so sorry you're having such a rough time...give yourself a much deserved break, don't feel obligated to entertain everyone...that'll do you in every time, I know it's hard to say no to people we care about, but you have to consider the personal cost to yourself... hugss

THANK YOU everyone.

All your posts really helped me get through this rough patch. As Lath said... I was tired. Took the last dose of prednisone today and was able to make it through the day. Today felt like the second day after getting through the flu. The concert was great and went REALLY late...you know 10:30. The place was a "dive" that had 3 floors of music that plays and headlines death metal or speed metal or whatever you call it, so Ryan Bingham was a departure to the kinds of bands that play there. Our entrance was on the side, the sidewalk was never salted... a good place to go sledding. I thought I was going to kill myself. That walk alone took a lot out of me. Got to use the guarded "no exit" doors leaving when I told them my car was right out side the door and there was no way I could make it up their sidewalk without possibly falling.(I was nice about it and so were they) Seem to be doing better now with 2 extra pain pills in the evenings. Seems no matter what you do and how you prepare you still end up paying for it. Back up dusting myself off till the next time!!!

Can't say thank you enough to all of you here.

Hello Jeff,

Hope you can find a better place. Disease has its ups and downs, so hopefully turns around soon for you.

Hope you enjoyed the concert.

If I recall you live in Fond du Lac, so hopefully you enjoyed Super Bowl as much as I did.

Tim

I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better, Jeffrey...I know that when pain levels are very high, it's hard to remember that there are better days ahead, sometimes it seems like it'll never end... hugss
