Do we have anyone at KA that might be affected by the bad 8.9 earthquake in Japan? I am praying for all those poor people.

Been watching it all morning and now the tsunamis in california, hawaii, and oregan.

I pray that God will comfort those who are affected by this and their loved ones in the days and months to come.

I hope we have people here that will check in.

I've been watching as well its a terrible thing looks like there will be thousands of deaths. Thought New Zealand was bad but this was 1000 times more powerful the after shocks are 7 and they reckon they could go on for a year.Poor Poor people.
Another sign of the changing world. I just hope the waves reduce before they hit land.

The tsunamis in Crescent City, CA have damaged the dock and crushed many boats. They are lucky that they know from past history to keep watch whenever there is an earthquake in the Pacific. There are tsunami signs all around town, warning people about where there is possibility of danger.

The tsumani alert is right around the whole pacific rim - I'm sure we have people on the board here in some of those asian and south american countries. I'm just hoping that in most places it doesn't end up as bad as it could potentially be. I know Hawaii had an earthquake as well. Aftershocks can keep up for ages - the Christchurch stuff is still aftershocks from the September quake.

wow...I had just recently donated to NZ quake relief....crazy...the vids of shaking and tsunamis...unreal...the pacific plate is either in motion or being pushed around by other plates...I get scared just watching the vids and hope N. and S. America are not next in line...
Peace
