Wish I could get my CRP down faster. It peaked at over 110 and is now down to 40 but that's still way too high as normal is below 5. It was prednisone that made it drop from 110 to 40.

**UPDATE**

So looking back I had a 5 week remission from my radon experience that began immediately. Pat,(the Mine Owner), encouraged me to come back at six months time as a follow up, and that it might help for a longer remission time.

It is 3/21/11 and I still haven't gone back. I only live 4 hours away.......silly. I've begged the husband to no avail, so I've decided I'm doing it no matter what. I've simply got to try to get these wrists moving again. My back has stayed well, except for a few new back aches lately. My psoriasis has never came back. (minor spots in my ears, were insanely itchy.)

My disease activity seems to be "amping up" lately, whereas NSAIDS offer little relief, and any cheating on the NSD and no sugar diet is more dire than usual. I seem to be "living" because of my LDN, yeast cleanse supplement, and 6000mg of vit C every night. Newly dabbling in essential oils as well. They seem to offer speedy short term pain relief. Still trialing.

Montana, here I come...back...in a couple of weeks.

Hi Donette,

I just came back from Bad Brambach, Germany last week where they believe they have the richest Radon source in the world. It was a very professional establishment with focus directly on arthritic conditions.

I did 4 sessions in 1 week ( every other day) 20 min Radon bath in their spa and i cannot believe how fast the pain and stiffness disappears from your body. Right after my 2nd session i stopped taking medication for 3 days just to see if it was a flake and i haven't felt that good in 5 years. I was told 2 weeks/ 8 session is recommended for best results but i only had a week.

I got some brochures and took some pictures of the facility and i will put them up on KA soon.

They just did a segment on the radon mine in montana on the news. I was telling my wife that people on this site go there, and just then the lady they were interviewing said she has AS, and comes to the mine for relief.

Here is the ling

have fun! and hope it helps as much as it did before but longer!

so long as hubby doesn't have a problem with you going without him, i say go for it! due to work schedules, etc, hubby and i go places without the other: i go to meetings once a year when i can, he goes to painting works, etc, one of these days we'll go together, but til then, its ok if we don't, lots to talk about and share when we get back.

let us know when you go and update us often smile

Yay, that is THE mine Steve! That is awesome. I know that very nice lady with AS and her family!!!

I've read quite a bit about the dangers of radon and lung cancer and my research showed several findings that the danger of lung cancer comes when you continue actively smoking "and" breathing radon. Many old miners were smokers, hence the high rate of lung cancer among miners.
