If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I was taken off of enbrel because it wasn't doing much anymore (so I thought)and recently started simponi did my injection early morning Thursday and went to see my gp for blood work and found out my kidneys aren't happy, he said I was dehydrated which isn't possible because I drink lots of water.
So he took me off the celebrex and I tell you I can't tell whats causing what now...I had a headache for a few days and am experiencing dizziness which could be the simponi and painful leg cramps at night, peeing like crazy, kidneys...so discouraged, maybe it wasn't the enbrel that stopped working maybe something else is wrong...I had a bunch more blood tests done, the gp thinks it could be diabetes??...who knows.
I am a little worried because had I known before the simponi injection (which is in my system for a month) I would have waited until my kidneys cleared....
All I can say is wait for clearing on your bloodwork if you're on the TNF's, it may be perfectly fine but I would rather be safe than sorry...

That is horrible to hear. My bloodwork seems to have been ok on everything I have tried so far *fingers crossed*. I hope everything gets better for you.
HLAB27+ A.S for 2 year. Humira, Enbrel, Simponi all tried now moving on to Remicade. Meth, sulfa, tramadol, etc...

Daisy, could Celebrex be affecting your kidney's? I am asking because I am also on Celebrex and have a had a few rather painful awakenings where it felt like my kidneys were gonna blow up. Very painful. I thought it was the Arthrotec causing it. Fingers crossed things settle for you.

Hi Magician, the doctor took me off of celebrex because of kidney problems but I don't know if it causes kidney disease. If you're having pain and your uncertain its back pain or kidney pain, please see your doctor. It could be as simple as a bloodtest or urine test and it will set your mind at ease.
Take care and let me know how it goes...

Sorry you are having to go thru this...
I think the Dr. is doing the right thing by running the tests.
Try not to borrow trouble before it's here hopefully it will be something simple.
