If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

As a scientist, I am tempted to laugh at the mere mention of homeopathy. But yes, it is sad to see poor people who are desperate for help be ripped off by this sort of nonsense. In case you think that there is any merit to homeopathy, watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWE1tH93G9UHowever, I do think there may be some place for homeopathy and I think this is the reason why even some governments support it as part of their subsidised health care systems. Lots of people go to the doctors looking for a cure for minor things which would just get better by themselves anyway. In this case it's probably a lot better to just give the patient something that is 'supposed' to make them feel better that obviously doesn't do anything. That is, it's just cheaper and safer to just give them some water and the placebo effect will have them feeling better in no time. It's only really dangerous when people seek this sort of treatment for a serious condition.

I have gotten help from homeopathy..it's quite incredible actually.. & very inexpensive. Pending on what specific symptoms you are trying to alleviate can determine what remedy (remedies) you take.. I seem to do better with just one (or two) remedies that are not in a combination with other remedies.. It's difficult to find a well trained homeopath, so I figured why not just start doing massive amounts of reading from a variety of sources & see what I come up with for me..It was neat to find there are actually MEDICAL DOCTORS who are homeopaths as well..And I'm sure anything that can do really great things can also potentially do not great things.. but for me the risk of trying this stuff is NOMINAL compared to a lot of the Rheum-y drugs.. Arnica Montana is super popular for lots of different ailments.. I actually got the most help from Rhus Toxicodendron (Hyland's tablets 30x dose) & Calcarea Fluorica (Hyland's tablets 6x).. Just do your research & try to be as informed as possible.. everything in moderation I guess.. I get the most help from combination therapy (I see a Medical Doctor & Naturopathic Doctor) REALLY though the BIGGEST HEALER / HELPER is FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am working hard to keep expanding no starch eating and enjoy it (enough:)) and reaching every day toward HEALTH!

You didn't mention what benefits you felt from this but, knowing homeopathy from research, this sounds like classic placebo effect. Could you please forward a list of medical doctors who are homeopaths or where you found that information? Thanks!

an interesting comment my rheumy made: said he didn't believe in the placebo effect. said that whenever they think its placebo, turns out someone has changed something not mentioned. anyway, not saying i agree or disagree, just stating what he said. memorable because that statement surprised me.

I do not agree 100% with 'placebo' effect - more like an all too-easy get-out... 'We don't know 'what' it is, so therefore...?? Interesting comment from yr rehumy. Hmmmmmmm.

Kind of like all these syndromes, disorders, and invented what-nots. Surely there must be a pill for that, right? I oft need to remind myself who the quacks really are.
Kind Regards, Jay
