thanks donette smile

oddly, when i woke up today, i think my knees were the only part of me not sore. my right arm hurt today, where i hurt it last month, probably from catching myself yesterday. but that was about it. got lucky. when i went down, i thought for sure i broke both my knee caps. that would have been a odd one to explain to people smile

walked tonight ~ 1 mile, ~ 30 minutes. nice night for a walk. caught the end of sunset and then finished walking in the dark through the cul-de-sac.

Yesterday I played in the pool with 10 family kids for 1 hour. After a day of heat and pain (and subsequent stupidity from pain meds), it was SO NICE!

maybe i spoke too soon? i did feel under the weather yesterday, nothing particularly wrong, just icky. but today, my right SI joint has my right butt and lower back stiff, the muscles aren't spasming enough to scream, but they are stiff and sore.

is it the fall?

or is it something i'm doing each summer as this is about the time of year (a little earlier) that i've flared in a bad way the last two summers. but i'm on probiotics now so if its leaky gut, is it just too much roughage in the way of fruits and veggies that my body can't handle? or is it just because?

ick. i hope i recover soon.

Today I ran the Deseret News 10k in Salt Lake city. My time was 54:02 minutes. I was faster than I thought I would be.

Yesterday I swam 1,000 yds in about 35 minutes and today I noodled for 45 minutes.

I'm totally trashed tired and emotionally exhausted. My oldest sister is in hospice care w/ cancer, failed kidneys, and a collapsed lung. My two other sisters are there with her, as is her son and two of adult her grandchildren. I'm really sick of death this year. Uff... eyes

Erica - you have way too much to cope with right now. I wish I could reach out my arms and lift some of these burdens from you.

I'm very sad and sorry that your sister is so sick. Big hugs to you.

Thanks Wendy, She's gone now. Her son who she hadn't seen in 30 years was with her. And he was able to reconcile with two of his three children during the week. It's been a real week of family miracles among the sadness for my family. heart
