Hi Everybody,

Lots of new folks here. My mom died July 11, and I have to admit it has really taken the anxiety I have carried trying to look after her. Mom has had Alzeimers for 15 years. We put her into a home eight years ago, but you still worry about her. I was so glad that she went in her sleep. They put her to bed and went to check her one hour after and she was gone. So now we have cleared out her house and put it up for sale and it sold in five days. So hopefully things will quiet down and I get back to routine.
Thanks for listening

Janet

sorry to hear about your mother. my husband's parents both passed away from pretty bad diseases at the end and i know how hard it can be, even for a lot less time than you describe. while we miss them terribly, in some ways it is easier to not see them in pain anymore. i hope the same for you. heart
