If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey Corey, yes maybe your gut is not in good shape. I dunno, but you know your body best so I'm sure in time you'll get it sorted.
Most people try and avoid super processed sugars like maltodextrin etc as they become a bit weird after processing and are hard to digest. Normal white sugar is not usually a problem for most.
It's a hard one with the meds. They are necessary for many just so they can function. I know Jon didn't go cold turkey on his NSAIDS when starting the NSD. So you have the right idea to keep taking what you need to be able to function and over the coming months as you improve on the diet you may be able to slowly reduce them. It may be necessary to take a long term approach with this - it may take a few months or maybe a year.
All the best

Looky here! http://www.frot.co.nz/nature/coconut.htmscroll down a little past 3/4 down the page to coconut flour. Interesting! Kiwi is this the brand you use? What brands of coconut flour and/or desicated coconut are you NSDers using that passed the iodine test?

I can't seem to digest coconut flour - sticks in my gut like a lead ball. Possibly too much fiber for those of us with weak stomach acid and delayed emptying?

Yep Sunny, I buy Zenian organic coconut flour but get it direct from zenian.co.nz. All the dessicated coconut I buy at the supermarket passes the iodine test as does fresh coconut.

Thanks for the replies you guys! Look forward to more Thanks Kiwi. Is this a good price (at their site) for it? If I'm gonna give it a go I want it to be THE stuff. I thought of you when I read in their discription about iodine testing/starch free/sinclair. They made me wanna order it right away lol. I wish more companies were more accomodating like this!

In NZ dessicated coconut is a lot finer than shredded. Better for use in baking IMO.

Hi Sunny, I wouldn't worry about ordering this stuff from NZ as that would be a bit crazy....the postage!!! This flour is imported from the phillipines. Any coconut flour that is just pure coconut should be fine it doesn't have to be this one in particular. Don't know if it makes any difference but the flour I buy is dry milled.

I never thought about the postage til now lol. It would probably be awful! I think the small bag works out to 2.2 lbs for about $17 US. I did notice it was from Phillipines and think I'll gear towards that. I ordered the Let's Do Organics that Jaybird said he used. I also ordered NOW desiccated coconut tho it didn't say what country it was from.
Thanks for all your help! Fingers crossed that it doesn't flare me up. I neeeeeeed the calories.
