Hi Jan,
I am so sorry to hear that you got that awful new's. I just went through this with my dad but he was already in the hospital and I had no time with him before they put him under.
I know your fear's about the weather changing, as that is when I am at my worst too. Call your Dr.s ahead of time to make sure that you have plenty of your med's to take. Mine were very helpful with that.
Just go and be blessed with what time you have and everything will work itself out with your husband and daughter. I am praying for you and your mother and family. I know this is a very trying time. We are here for you.

I'm sorry that your mom and your family have to go through this.
Sending heaps of love to you and your family.
My mom was out here visiting me this summer, while I was in a flare, and she was juicing for me 3 times a day while I was on a juice fast for several days......and then cooking for me once I was eating again. So I know what you mean. We're blessed to have such loving and compassionate mothers.
You & your mom are in my prayers.

I know what your going thru...my Mom was 65 when she fell and broke her shoulder and her hip, she had surgery and knowing this was going to be a long journey back to health with re-hab ect.. it was a shock when she died 13 days later, that was 7 years ago and not a day goes by that I dont think about her, wish to see her, talk to her, one last hug, see all of her great grands...
I am so sorry this is happening and nothing can prepare you for it. Spend all the time with her that you can, love her tell her often be there for her she will be blessed for it and so will you..I was lucky enough for my Mom to pass in my arms truly one of the honors of my life. Will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and the strength to get thru it.

I'm so sorry Jan. I lost my mama when she was 57 and it I know exactly how you feel. I'm so very sorry for your whole family. PM me anytime if you want to talk. Godspeed to you on your journey.

I am crying will reading your post. I am so sorry to hear. You and your family will stay in my thoughts and prayers.
Caring for a loved one is the most rewarding 'workout' but please remember to listen to your body while you are helping your mother and try to take some time to also care for yourself. I can’t tell you how, wish I could. I can only speak from the experience of one didn’t and tell you please try.
